“It's certainly not as large as the Urbana market, but that's exactly why I like it. It's just a dozen or so stalls, mostly fresh produce with a bakery stand, a meat stall, and a jams/syrups/pastries stall. It's very convenient to get to if you're near downtown, and I never see it too crowded. You can get in and out as quickly as you like, and it's great for just dropping in to pick up your fresh bread and veggies for the week.”

“A very family oriented farmers market. Although it is in it's infancy, it is still a wonderful little gathering to get some fresh fruit and sometimes meats. The jams and jellies are very good as well. We have always enjoyed going there and getting some local honey or bread. Everyone is very friendly and willing to provide their backstory so you know exactly where your food is coming from.”

“Living downtown has been improved exponentially by the availability of local produce, meats, breads and goods available each Tuesday evening throughout the Summer and into the Fall. Highly recommended for those living in and around the heart of the city.”

“Nice little afternoon market conveniently located downtown right near lots of dining. Not as big as the Urbana market but also doesn't take place so early in the morning, for those of us that like to sleep in on the weekend.”

“I absolutely love this market....the veggies are amazing...organic healthy and natural...the way vegetables should be ...baked foods from stango...and his ginger juice ...if you have the opportunity please go”

“Great produce and products, and the vendors were very nice and helpful. Everyone followed all safety guidelines. The balloon stand and free kids cooking kits were great items to receive for my children”

“Given the sorry state of the American food supply/production (factory farming etc.) thanks to monumental, near anti-human rights (and most certainly anti-animal rights) level corporate greed, farmer's markets are really the only good options to get actual, real food in this country that aren't stripped of like 90% of the nutrients. It's a shame it's a tiny little farmers' market.”

“It is a little small, but hey, that's Champaign! They start setting up around 1pm on Tuesdays, and properly open at 3pm. The people you meet and those working at the stalls are both wonderful.”
