“Deanna Rose Children's Fatmstead is one of our must-go places! Set in a convenient spot just outside of town in the greater KC area the farm offers an array of entertaining and at the aame time educational activities for all ages... from panning sand in the mine to learning about farm equipment at the blacksmith's workshop. Take a hayride through the eatate to.see all sorts of farm animals, go fishing in the lake, feed and pet the goats and have a walk in the shade of the botanical garden. Playgrounss and stores complete the memorable experience at Deanna Rose's Children's Farmstead... The entry is only 5$ and there are seasonal passes available for the aficionados.”

“We had a blast! And will definitely return the next time we are in town. We went after 2pm on a weekday so admission was free. I have 3 year old and 9 year old and there was so many amazing things to see and do. Interactive, educational, and anything that does cost extra was a very reasonable price (2.50$ for an ice cream cone). My kids loved feeding the animals, bring quarters or grab feed in the gift shop. Lots of shade and fun for kids and adults alike. The staff was all so friendly and helpful!”

“This was a great stop on a cross country road trip. At first I balked a bit at the $5 admission, but it was actually well worth it. There was a ton to do and see with a lot of living history exhibits, play areas, interactive animal facilities etc.One of my kids left a water bottle in one of the exhibits and staff was able to communicate on radio and locate it immediately. I was so impressed and grateful (especially since it was a two-day-old water bottle)”

“Coming from a farm lifestyle, I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure for my children. The entirity of the facility was clean and well maintained, the animals were in good health, and it was very safe and interactive for the children. I was very pleased with the staff and their knowledge and willingness to answer questions about their specialties. It's a bit far from home, but I hope to return again. Thank you Deanna's team.”

“This place was so much fun and everything is so affordable, including the add on activities. We took our almost 3 year old on a whim while in town visiting the area and this was the highlight of our trip. We can't wait to visit again! Affordable, fun, friendly, way bigger than you'd think, clean and well-maintained facilities (even the restrooms).”

“We came from out of state and had the best time! Admission was free after 2pm! Shopped at the gift shop, fed goats bottles for $1, $3 fishing, ice cream, etc. my 4yo loved it! It’s very big and so many kids activities. 10/10 would go again!”

“Absolutely LOVE Deanna Rose!! We brought our baby friend and her mom and had such an amazing time. They've expanded a lot of the gardens and walking trails in the last several years! Highly recommend”

“I come here with my son every time I am around this area. We love feeding the baby as well as adult goats. They have a great collection of animals.”
