Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Missouri.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Wow!!! I can not express how amazing this place is!! The amount of things for kids to do goes far and beyond! They have a huge food court when you get into the farm, live music, fresh donuts, can't get any better. They have a huge barn that has 4 BIG inflatable obstacle courses and other inflatables such as throwing axes, soccer, football and many more. Hay rides, train ride, a huge playground maze, Animals, pig races. The amount of things to do here is incredible for a kid! Picking apples and seeing the different kinds was really neat. My kiddo got to try some new apples for the first time and seeing what she likes is a nice memory to cherish. I'm really impressed. The Mums garden is spectacular, we came at 9am and the colors radiating off the morning sunshine was blissful. The pricing on them are great, they are beautiful and well taken take of. We walked out with 3! We plan to come back in October to check out the late bloomer Mums, and the farm of course! Bunch of nicely decorated photo areas to take great family pictures. Pumpkins are beautiful and a huge variety of different colors There is no bad smell at this farm like there is at some cider mills. Pumpkin & cider donuts Food is fairly priced. Ticket price may sound heavy, but it's worth every penny i promise. Apple picking is a must try.”

“I’m a first time visitor here 🌸🌸 I was looking for “pick your own veggies” farm. This farm is so far the best I’ve found. Variety was not enough for me though (more type of pepper, eggplant, zucchini, carrot, spinach, and herbs), I’m still happy with what I’ve gotten. ☺️ All veggies were $1.50 per pound if I’m not mistaken. Tomatoes are the best I could find for this price. I’ve canned them for winter use. You pay for the “apple bag” and fill the bag by yourself, the freshest apple I’ve eaten for a long time 😊. Lastly, I’ve found my childhood pumpkin (grey color), which is edible and the sweetest one great for dessert, cake and addition to your salad!! I have couple of suggestions from a visitor point: 1. I paid $5 to enter; to pick apple and veggies, I was not interested in entertainment at all. I wish entrance was free for only pick up “veggie-fruit visitors”. I’d come weekly for my grocery shopping. 2. A sign for the peppers that tells us the type and spice level would be great. There were lots of different type of peppers, I did not know their level of spice. The ones I assumed not hot, were too hot to eat!! 😅 3. Lastly if you could give us small plastic bags, would have been great for small veggie picking. We had to use a large cabbage leaf to carry beans 😬”

“UPDATE: Bought the season passes this year, and I’m already impressed with all the new stuff they’ve added since last year! We’re gonna be coming here a lot this fall 😊 The apples are delicious and the price seems comparable to grocery store prices (fruit is never cheap!). My kids each picked their own pumpkin and we paid less than $9 for all 3 of them (1 medium, 2 small). — WOW! I was blown away by this place. I’ve been to 3 other similar pumpkin patch/apple picking places, and this was hands-down my favorite. Honestly, what really impressed me was the quality and flavor of the apples we picked and the donuts and cider slushies. I go to these places for the experience and have found that the items themselves are often mediocre. Not here! The apples were yummier than the ones we buy at Costco and other grocery stores. In addition, my kids loved all the play options and picking apples and pumpkins. It’s late in the season now, but we’re definitely getting season tickets next year!”

“Be prepared to spend some time and this expansive pumpkin patch! They definitely have all of the fall activity essentials covered. The staff is very inviting and there is something for everyone, no matter the age. Pumpkins, prepicked apples, mums, and other plants can be purchased in the market area along with decor, fresh pumpkin or cider donuts, and jarred items and snacks. Admission covers all of the activities, the pumpkin patch, apple picking, flower cutting, and the veggie picking (which was a nice treat). We were able to harvest cabbage, beets, three colors of eggplant, and an assortment of hot peppers. They also had broccoli, tomatoes, and turnips. Bring some bags if you don't want to haul around a wheelbarrow. U-pick prices were beyond reasonable and it was fun to see how far the pumpkin cannon could shoot. The corn maze was Travis and Taylor themed this season, which seemed on par for the local mood.”

“Thank you for keeping your admission price affordable when others increase their prices so much every year. We love this place and feel the family love! (2023) Update for 2024: we bought the season pass and love how you keep adding new things each year and keep things looking nice. We loved seeing the baby pigs too! It’s so beautiful to see the water in the background with the zinnias and other plants growing. This place makes me grateful for autumn . Thank you so much for all of your hard work. I also enjoy the live music.”

“My family loved coming here. It is stroller friendly, and everything is pretty close together, which I really appreciate. Even though lots of walking isn't required, It is still a great size with lots of activities to do for all ages. If I lived closer, I would absolutely get a season pass.”

“My partner and I had a blast picking through all the veggies, exploring the corn maze, and finding pumpkins 🎃 both the apple cider donuts and pumpkin spice donuts are delishhh and the apple cider slushies certainly didn't disappoint!! Super tasty, sweet and appley flavor ☆”

“Great place to pick pumpkins, eat apple & pumpkin donuts and watch the grandkids play at unusual but creative play areas. The conveyor slide was a favorite. Plenty of mums and pumpkins!”
