“Deep Roots Produce is more than a farm, it’s a community treasure! From the moment you arrive, you feel the warmth of a family-owned, local business that truly cares about its neighbors. Stephen and Liv have created a space that blends fresh, homegrown produce with a welcoming atmosphere. Whether it’s crisp peppers, juicy melons, or the fall pumpkin patch, everything is fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. What I love most is their mission: to provide not only the best produce but also a place where families can make memories. The petting zoo, seasonal events, and the new farm market barn make it a perfect destination for kids and adults alike. If you want high-quality, local, and sustainable produce while supporting a family that pours their heart into everything Deep Roots Produce in Alto, MI is the place to go. Highly recommended!”

“Love visiting our local neighborhood farm with so many fun family activities. I was extremely tempted to get their fresh strawberries and I'd definitely recommend anyone who believes in fresh and local to try them. Some of them tasted just like they were out of Strawberry syrup! And they re organic too! Also bought frozen Strawberry donuts (the other option was strawberry lemon) and were really good. The quality of fresh spring onion is unbelievably awesome which i got this time ! They have a bunch of different souvenirs apart from local produce, very tempted to buy the peacock stuff toy, maybe next time! There s plenty of parking, not sure about wifi, but carry mooville products and other meats! Check it out and I hope you enjoy and support this farm!”

“Very cute place! Definitely on the more expensive side of pumpkin patches but still worth it if you're looking for artisan goods. Pumpkins range from i think 10-14$ and the goods were pretty expensive, 15 for a bag of apples, 25$ for pie, didn't look too much at anything else because it was a bit out of my price range this year. Got a donut tho and it was fire! Good treats and feeding the animals was sweet! Its 5-10$ depending on how big of a feeding cup u want, to feed the animals. This is our third year coming here but we really like the pumpkin selection despite the higher price! Hand in the picture is to show how huge these guys are 😂”

“Decided to try a new fall venue and we’re not disappointed. Must see if you love fall family time. The store was amazing with pizza and tons of other options. Fresh honey to homemade soap! Flower garden is the biggest I have ever seen! At night they have glow sticks for the corn maze.”

“Deep Roots Produce is an excellent place to get fresh produce and visit the petting zoo. On occasion, they have host events like goat yoga! Very friendly owners and a great staff that is very friendly as well! Definitely worth the drive out to Caledonia!”

“First time here and I live local. Plan to tell others to try it. My daughter loved the animals. The treats were super affordable. A bunch of photo opportunities. Pumpkins everywhere. 2 and under are free in the play area, which is nice. However the accompanied parent (though just chasing their kid around) is still full price... Wish could be at least discounted, as 8 bucks to chase my 16mo old around in the play area for a short period of time seemed a little much. Regardless, we def will go back. The donut ice cream boat dessert thing was DELICIOUS.”
