“This is a great family operated orchard! The owner (Dave) is friendly & very helpful. He gave us a taste of a couple different apples to better direct us to the right trees to pick. I brought my 7yo granddaughter to pick apples. We had a fun time. A beautiful walk in the orchard. I took some nice pics. So many apples! After picking we went into their very nice pole barn store were we sat down to a game of tick tack toe. They sell too many things to list... but, a few are salsa, jams, honey, cider, & fresh apples. I believe Dave the owner said they grow 17 different types of apples. If you're looking for a fun outing with your little ones, spend an hour or two at Summer Sweet Orchard. You'll be glad you did...”
“Lovely people and excellent fruit! Came here on a last minute ditch effort to find peaches for jam and peach butter. My girlfriends and I had planned a canning/jam day so I figured getting them a day before was best. I learned it wasn’t! After going to several places that had unripe peaches, I came here and explained my situation. They so graciously went out and picked the ripe peaches off the tree! Thanks again for saving the day!”
“Awesome local place to pick apples and to get some fresh peaches when in season. They sell out of the baked goods early for good reason too! Not sure if they do donuts or not but their cookies, breads, and cinnamon rolls are dynamite.”
