Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.

Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Our favorite place for strawberries”

“We picked berries from their u-pick, and they molded in the fridge within 2 days. My wife wrote a comment on their Facebook page and they responded with accusations and had a poor attitude during the whole exchange. We weren’t attacking them, just stating our experience and they did not exhibit what we felt would have been a professional response. We would strongly suggest going elsewhere.”
