“Visited the farmers market for the first time, and we really enjoyed it! What friendly people, both visitors and vendors. Tons of delicious baked goods, in addition to fresh and interesting produce. People, dogs, kiddos, and lots of smiles. Great way to start a Saturday morning. The market is essentially set up like a U, wrapping around three sides of the square. Stop at Lab Coffee, inside the Red Raccoon game shop, for a great cup of coffee, specialty drink, or acai bowls! There aren't really any food vendors at the market, just a lot of baked goods, produce, crafts, and preserves - just fyi, in case you are planning on grabbing a bite while here - you'd be limited to a good number of excellent quality baked goods. We can't wait to go back, and would definitely recommend visiting!”

“This one of the larger farmers markets that I have attended. There is a large selection of local grown produce and meat. We have made it a habit of getting some mushrooms from one local dealer and always try to different types prepared with leeks and garlic. I have never been disappointed with anything we have purchased at the local farmers market from brats to micro greens. Everyone we dealt was very knowledgeable and friendly. We make the trip every weekend.”

“The farmer's market is a great place to buy sweets, meats, sauces, and hand crafted items like some really pretty jewelry. There is usually a singer present as well as some open store fronts for galleries. Nice to just walk around even if not buying anything.”

“Love going to the farmers market. There are so many different vendors there that have fresh vegetables. I also like the honey vendors. New this last year were two cheese vendors both of which have wonderful products.”

“Great crowd today and lots of friendly vendors. Lots of food stuff and non-food stuffs. And we have a local celeb from Forged in Fire selling his wares.”

“Kind of a construction mess right now, but should be nice when the work is done.”

“Farmers market might be fun but if you are business better have a thick skin…. Went to our local farmers market as always but from a business standpoint and will not even go for any reason again. Our store is doing a big grand reopening and without much information we went to the information booth to see what we could gather . Greeted with no smile and rude demeanor we were told that they can’t promote anything outside of downtown Bloomington and that we needed to leave the farmers market. Very unprofessional and rude. To the point of my sales employee crying. They could have just said with a smile that they had specific regulations and couldn’t help us with what we are we needing. As someone who works with the public everyday do better”
