Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Colorado.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 – The Best Pumpkin Patch Experience! This was hands down the best pumpkin patch we’ve ever been to! My almost ten-year-old and I had an incredible time and could’ve easily stayed all day. We started with the giant jumping pad, which was so much better than similar ones we’ve tried elsewhere—it was clean, safe, and so much fun! Then we explored the Spooky Trail, a beautiful wooded walk sprinkled with festive Halloween décor. Next up were the dual hill slides, where my son and his friend must have raced down at least 25 times! The haystack maze was another hit—well designed, full of fall touches, and perfect for a quick adventure before our hayride. According to my son, “That was the best hayride I’ve ever been on!” The decorations, scenery, and rolling hills made it such a memorable ride. We loved stopping by the fairy garden, where the kids got to find and keep sparkling little gems (you’d think they struck gold with how excited they were!). “The Village” area with animals like goats and pigs was another highlight, followed by a delicious stop at the food trucks—fresh lemonade and corn dogs hit the spot! After a quick football game and a few runs on the bouncy house slides, we finished the day by picking out the perfect pumpkins from the patch. We purchased the Combo ticket, which gave us access to everything, and it was absolutely worth it. On the way home, my son asked, “So… when are we going back?” I couldn’t recommend Fall Mountain Farm more—beautiful, well organized, and full of fun for all ages. 10/10 – we’ll definitely be back!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cutest pumpkin patch ever! Fall Mountain farms pumpkin Patch is seriously the cutest place I’ve ever been. They had the sweetest animals in the petting zoo, fun inflatable slides, beautiful pumpkins at great prices, and even a super cool tractor ride!! But what truly made it special were the owners. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. So warm, helpful, and welcoming. You can feel the love they put into this place. Such a sweet, fun, and wholesome fall spot. Highly recommend! 🎃🍂”

“Wow! This is the best pumpkin patch experience we have had!! The animals walk around you in the petting zoo area. It’s like a little town and you can hang out with the animals and feed them. They had a fun slide, some great bouncy houses, lots of little games. The food trucks were great including a boba truck. And their prices are way better than other major pumpkin patches. I’d drive 2 hours to come here!”

“We had an excellent time at the pumpkin patch. The owners have put so much work and love into this place. There were so many activities for kids, you could easily make a day of it. Prices are reasonable, it was a great value compared to other farms in the area. The property was clean and there is plenty of space to accommodate a crowd.”
