Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Washington.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“This rating is for the Filberts. Stopped by the Proctor Market on Sat, a friendly representative and his young helper gave us samples. We bought a bag of un-cracked, we're really enjoying them. Best quality I've ever had. Highly recommended!!”
“Ran into one of the owners at the proctor farmers market last week and he was so sweet to my little one. We bought some hazelnuts and they were all devoured by the end of the week. Who knew pre cracked was an option! Will be back for more :)”
“We are regular customers of their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) every summer and fall. We pay upfront and get a share of each week's harvest. Just some of the best and freshest vegetables around.”
“Good Hazelnuts. $35 / 5 lbs”
“I placed an online order last week on Wednesday. Due to the holidays I am wanting to ask about the shipping status of my order. I’ve tried calling (can’t leave a voicemail, mailbox is full), emailing, instagram, and Facebook messenger and I cannot get any reply. I was working last weekend so unable to stop by the one day a week they’re physically open. It’s now Monday evening and I have had zero responses.”
