Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The corn maze and pumpkin patch were fun! I’m not sure what the point of paying $5 to get in and then another $20 to do the maze and pumpkin patch is. It seems like there’s nothing you can do with the $5 entrance fee so it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Other than that, it’s a great pumpkin patch experience. Definitely recommend.”

“Great selection & varieties of pumpkins even had giant pumpkins over 100lbs, and beautiful sunflowers, and great selection of farm fresh produce. The pricing was very fair, and they have fun events and activities for kids on weekends! I highly recommend! Best pumpkin patch around!”

“Amazing farm with a market. Every Halloween they do a different corn maze. Definitely with a journey with kids. You get a map with clue markers to locate in the maze. Its fun.”

“Forneris farms is a great place to visit for high quality produce. They don’t have a great selection, but what they do have is always excellent quality.”

“Doesn't let you pick your own tomatoes. Put soft mushy ones on bottom and a few nice ones on top We also bought our Halloween pumpkin a week before and in 3 days it rotted and back fell out. Overall quite disappointed as I love buying local organic food”
