Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Indiana.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“The top of our Fall “to-do” list annually! We have been visiting this farm for over 10 years now and it is always our favorite part of the fall season! The staff is wonderfully kind and helpful, the farm is beautiful, and the selection of pumpkins, gourds and even mums is always top tier! There is so much to do for kids, AND adults! The newly added beer garden and live music stage are a nice treat every visit as well! The kids can ride the bucket train, play in the kid area, and everyone can enjoy the hayride! This family is huge on supporting local charities, 4H, school groups, etc! They always dedicate their corn maze to a special cause every year as well. Entry is free and attractions are cheap at $5 a pop! Bloomington is blessed to have such a gem to enjoy every fall season! I love this place!”

“We have made it a family tradition to come here every fall for about nine years now, and each year there is even more to see and do. Parking and entry are free, and you only pay for the activities you choose. Tokens are five dollars per person/activity for things like the hayride and corn maze, and our kids are under ten so they get to enjoy those for free. It is one of the most affordable family outings we have found, and there is also a free kiddie zone and animal barn. The staff is always so friendly, and they do so much to give back through community fundraisers. We love seeing how much they grow each year and are already looking forward to coming back next season!”

“This was a really great set up excellent prices. My wife and I visited and took my mom with us. It was a great memory for all of us. First time any of us has been to Fowler. The first time my wife and I have ever been to a pumpkin patch together. First time I have been to a pumpkin patch with my mom since the early 2000s. I really appreciate their professionalism. It was very stress free. Highly recommended for any one reading this and friends and family. You don't even have to go with money if you don't buy anything. They had great music. Also wine and beer garden. Thanks for reading.”

“Fun pumpkin patch. Has fields of pumpkins and easy to reach one's up front. Pucture cut outs for the kids to be a pumpkin head. Usually a few free things like bubbles and a rock/ sand box with trucks. Pay for a corn maze, hay ride or little tracker pulled train ride. And there's usually snacks you can buy. Friendly staff too.”

“Really fun experience! Everyone there was super friendly, my mother in law needed a special accomodation for the hay ride and they were so quick to help out and make sure she could be a part of the experience, we will definitely be back and for sure recommend taking your family. Lots of fun activities and great pricing!”

“Had a great time here with the family. Self-pick pumpkin patch, pre-picked pumpkins to shop for, various types/colors of decorative pumpkins, apples when in season, 17 minute hayride, small tractor barrel ride for small kids, corn maze, food and drinks. This play is quite fun and would recommend to any family.”

“Fowler Pumpkin Patch is nice. $5 per person for a corn maze is kind of pricey, but overall still a great experience. I would also recommend carrying non-alcoholic beverages like coffee and apple cider at the "beer garden."”

“We absolutely loved Fowlers! Free to get in but make sure to be prepared to spend money if you want to do the hayride and maze. Overall wonderful experience and would love to make this a yearly tradition.”
