“Ron and Lisa are amazing!!! We went down for a bach party mud run and our event canceled due to the fires - we got so lucky to find Frightened Turtle! The wines are really amazing, seriously fruit forward and created with lots of thought, care and precision. We each had a wonderful flight of wines, and the space is the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor. I highly recommend their Merlot, Red Blend, and any of the fruit port wines that they age in repurposed fallout shelters. They have a great mix of wines for all palates - and such wonderful people and ambiance. We’ll be back!!”

“This place is amazing, you drive through to see a list of what they have and a person will come up to your car and take your order. The prices are awesome, the customer service is great, and the products they have will have you coming back for more. The wine bottles are beautiful (fallout peach is my favorite) and delicious. I made baby food and peach syrup with the ripe peaches I had. This is the kind of business that makes NJ great.”

“Such a welcoming winery. The owners welcomed me and my partner and they felt immediately like family and not merchants. They were so accommodating (me with a broken leg) and friendly, even sitting with us and telling us about their wines… then just talking like old friends. Tonight being my first visit I highly recommend checking them out. Not only amazing wine they make you feel like family”

“HIDDEN GEM! Wonderful winery. Don't be fooled by the casual vibe. The wine is top notch, the folks super hospitable. We sampled whites and reds, and enjoyed each sip. Fruit forward but not syrupy sweet and nicely balanced. Poke your head out and give them a visit. Trust me it's worth the small detour from your trip to the shore”
