Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“It is a great option for parents with kids under 7 years old. It’s affordable, and with snack time included, they can play for 2–3 hours. No waiting, and the rides—though a bit old—still feel safe. 🔹Long Review: This is a very good choice for parents with children under the age of 7. The price is quite affordable, and if you include some time for snacks, kids can easily enjoy themselves for 2 to 3 hours. I’m not sure it’s worth staying beyond 3 hours, and I wouldn’t recommend it for kids over 7. One big plus is that there’s no waiting time—kids can ride whatever they want as much as they like. The rides are a bit old, but they don’t seem unsafe.”

“Fun, affordable place to take your kids! Easy to find free parking. Little to no wait times for the carnival rides. Not a large park so it is easy to navigate and let the kids have fun. It’s clean, has food and drinks for sale and the staff is friendly and helpful. The kids really enjoyed it and has plenty of shade - there are picnic tables, too. The bathrooms in the park are porta potties, but it is not the type of park you will spend all day at, and the porta potties were clean. I’d definitely take my kids back again.”

“We took our children to this playground today. Overall, it blends well with nature—osmanthus is in full bloom, with various flowers and trees around. It’s a lovely spot for kids. However, we have a few suggestions: • Few facilities are open to the public. • No proper restrooms, only temporary ones that are very dirty. • Food stands are too close to the restrooms, which is unappetizing. • Limited food and drink choices; no juice or ice cream available. • Some play equipment is old and needs maintenance or replacement. On the bright side, this playground is quite kid-friendly for children under 7. We hope the owner will pay attention to these issues and make improvements, especially restroom hygiene. Thank you for your consideration.”

“Perfect place to take a younger family. They have a variety of rides for all ages. The Fisher and train are great for the younger kids (3 and under) and the swing and roller coaster is great up to preteen ages. Lines were typically short and moved quickly. All of the staff were friendly and polite. As an FYI (not a negative) there are some weight limits so if you're over 200-ish pounds there will be some off-limits to you (the adult) and potentially your child(ren) due to ride-alone height requirements. The mid-score review has to do with the poor food handling practices observed. Individuals were handling food and cash without switching gloves, and water bottles were placed in the ice bin used for the fountain drinks. Correction of this would result in a five star review.”

“02/26 - Hundreds of families waited in line for 4+ hours and left without season passes!! We didn't even make it to the front before closing. They only had 1 single worker processing the entrance, before midday adding an additional worker. The event was incredibly mismanaged and all families in line received ZERO communication on status or any regard for the absolute atrocious wait!! Young kids of all ages were incredibly frustrated, hungry and tons of families were forced to leave after waiting for 2-3 hours with no reach to entry insight. The have also taken down ALL Facebook and Instagram posts that contained HUNDREDS of complaints from families alike. What a MASSIVE DISSAPOINTMENT! Here is the original post regarding the discounted season pass. Also if you filled out the waiver before 6pm ish on 02/06, you can claim your discounted season pass. That was the latest update all families received at 5pm. Various families, including myself, video recorded an employee (linda) saying that. KCRA even showed up!”
