What visitors say

“Heard this was one of the best farmers markets out there, and they weren't lying. It's around like 6 blocks of things to see. I liked how it was super organized between having a couple blocks be food vendors, another being just produce sales, and other blocks for art and products. The food variety was so impressive. I think there was a vendor of every single cuisine I could think of. Lots of people snagging these beautiful bouquets of flowers. Lots of pups roaming. We did grab parking in one of those pay for the day spots but I bet if you got there early enough you could snag street parking. This was definitely a lovely thing to do on a nice, sunny, Saturday morning!”

“This market is by far the best in Sacramento. Each produce stand is overflowing with color. The flowers are gorgeous and bountiful. Artisan vendors are a pleasure to visit with. It is beautifully laid out & closed streets are wide enough to navigate the large crowds.”

“Visited from SoCal and this place was amazing! Great food, great vibe and just an overall wonderful experience! Get there early ☀️”

“Can't reccomend this enough! Best farmers market anywhere. Amazing food options, amazing stands, and the vibes are amazing.”

“Midtown Farmers Market is definitely one of the bigger and busier farmers markets in the Sacramento area. We got there later than we normally would, and it was absolutely packed — easily 3 to 4 blocks full of tents and vendors. There was everything from honey, baked goods, pizza, butchers, and seafood vendors to plants, jewelry, vintage finds, handmade crafts, and lots of unique local goods. The food variety alone was impressive. We saw desserts, empanadas, pizza, Mexican food, Asian food, and more. It felt like more than just a farmers market — it was almost like a giant community street festival in the middle of Midtown. Since it’s located right in Midtown Sacramento, you also get all the surrounding storefronts, restaurants, bars, and brick-and-mortar businesses mixed into the experience, which makes it fun to just wander around and explore. Lots of people had their dogs out walking with them too, which added to the vibe. The only downside was parking. It was pretty difficult to find, especially later in the morning. We ended up just paying $10 for parking because otherwise it felt like we would’ve been circling the blocks forever trying to find a free spot. Also, prices did seem a little higher compared to some of the smaller local farmers markets around the area, but that’s somewhat expected for a large Midtown market. Would I go back? Absolutely. Next time though, I’d definitely get there a lot earlier.”
