“Recently I took my daughter to Gearhard Farms to grab a pumpkin and go through the corn maze. After paying to enter the maze I noticed the pathway was more narrow than I thought it would be. I have claustrophobia and I turned to my father, who was with us, and said I was afraid of having a panic attack if we couldn't find the way out of the maze. A gentleman had overheard our conversation and said his name was Herb and he would be happy to guide us through the maze and that he knew where all of the exits were because he created the maze and this is his farm. The maze is filled with pictures of animals and various trivia questions that you check off on the list they give you when you enter. I was not only highly impressed with Herb's kindness and hospitality but I was also so impressed with his creativity and ability to create a different themed maze every year. I was in awe of the creativity and the extreme time, energy and thought that Herb and his family put into making their maze each year. The maze itself was a great time and I learned some cool trivia about Westmoreland county and other local things. I don't recall how much the maze cost to enter but it was very reasonable. There was also an area where you can purchase pumpkins and they also had limited drinks you can purchase. There is also a separate area for parties and groups. Parking was ample and they did have handicapped parking. We had a great time and I highly recommend everything they have to offer on the farm. A special thanks to Herb for saving the day!!!”

“We recently went to the maze and had a great time! The corn maze is much bigger and more difficult than expected, but that made it a fun challenge. If you go at night, bring a flash light! Also if you go after it rains, check their Facebook for updates and wear rain boots. The path gets a little muddy. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful place to take kids for a couple hours of fun. I suggest going later in the day, around 5:00 p.m. as it makes the maze a little more spooky, not scary. I found my way out pretty easily but the kids took over an hour. I could hear them laughing the whole time. It's not pricey either.”

“Wonderful place run by amazing people. We take our cub scouts to the corn maze every year and always have a blast!!! We look forward every year to figuring out what the design is and our bonfire afterwards.”

“Great corn maze on a family farm with an amazing history! The maze is different every year with a theme which has clues posted inside the maze. Very challenging and fun! Check their Facebook page for hours.”

“We had a great time at the corn maze. Might come back earlier in the season next year when everything is a bit greener but we still had a great time.”

“Beautiful scenery! Fun corn maze! Great place for the kiddos!”

“Fun for a quick Fall activity. Affordable price for a 10 minute hay ride. Pumpkins are pricey. Corn maze is large so plan plenty of time. Not overly crowded so no waiting. Down to earth family run fun!”
