“Last year we bought blackberry & blueberry bushes from Donnie...super nice & genuine guy! This past week I went by to purchase 2 apple trees! Anna & Dorsett Golden varieties. I'm very excited! They already have blooms that smell out of this world! Donnie is so knowledgeable & helpful to answer all of my questions. He's given me all his tips so that I will be the most successful at growing! He also loaded the trees into my car which he doesn't even know how much that meant to me. I've been having hand & shoulder issues so it would've been challenging for me to do. I prefer to shop locally to buy plants that are actually grown in our area & acclimated to our zone. Those bought at larger commercial stores don't seem to do as well for me. I was able to see his new building out front & am super excited for him! We will positively go back again & recommend that you go by Gissy's! Thank you Donnie!!”
“This guy's got the fruits. He's usually either there or happy to let you pick on an honor system. He's really up front and honest about what's ready and the best times. The blueberry he has are a little later in the season but soo much better than the early varieties. This is his latest farm, he has set up a few in the past that have new owners (and are still nice to have around). This is his latest and I have been there several times. All the seasonal fruits are so delicious right from the trees. He also usually has some trees for sale if you want to grow your own.”
“It's a really pretty setting! All the staff were helpful and very nice. They offer affordable fruit trees, blueberry bushes, pretty annual flowers & veggies... I would definitely buy more plants from them!”
“Fabulous plants, delicious fruit... May and June for blueberries, peach, nectarines and plums. Also sells the plants, jams, jellies, pickles... Don is super friendly and helpful.”
