What you can pick
In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Maine, not a guarantee for this exact farm.
Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Maine.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Picturesque family farm with plenty of berry picking. Spent a lovely morning with my two littles who loved finding the biggest berries and promptly filled up our collection tray. Prices are better than the grocery store and you're supporting a local farm and family. Fresh picked strawberries warm from the sun are supremely delicious Update: still amazing, new pictures 2 years later, no longer little babies”

“It’s blueberry picking season! My friend and I picked about 22 lbs of blueberries in 2 hours. It was hot and there is little to no shade. Please remember to bring sunscreen and a hat! The raspberries are just about gone by so we didn’t pick those. The berries were plump and tasty. Others were picking flowers and potatoes. There is plenty to do at the farm.”

“We come several times during the summer for their delicious berries! It doesn't get any fresher than picking your own berries in this well maintained farm. It's the beginning of August and they still have an abundance of blueberries to pick and a decent selection of raspberries still. Plus they have pick your own flowers or dig your own potatoes!”

“Such a nice pick-your-own farm. The raspberries were super ripe and plentiful. They also had blueberry picking open for the season. They have a small farm stand as well with honey, jams, and flowers. A fun summer activity to do solo, with friends, or as a family. 🍓”
