Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Michigan.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Absolute gem of a place!! Great pumpkin and gourde selection. Great prices. Clean for an outdoor place. The owners/staff are absolutely lovely people. We just moved to Midland and found our favorite spot!! We'll be back every year! But next year, make sure there's enough donuts 😉😆 We cant wait until next year!!!”

“Kids love it! Feed the animals, play in the playground and eat some yummy doughnuts and apple cider. Also has corn maze "really muddy this year bring boots" and pig racing. Then pick out pumpkins to bring the fun home with you😉”

“A wonderful place for children of all ages to explore and to introduce them to some new animals. We had so much fun getting pumpkins this past fall and enjoyed a visit on a beautiful sunny day! This is a must visit in the fall!”

“This is such a fantastic pumpkin patch. An enormous variety of pumpkins and gourds to choose from for decor, carving, cooking. All with very good prices. There's a cute little cafe to get a drink or bite to eat. The play yard/corn maze are not free. This is the first year it's been dry enough for us to do the corn maze (in previous years it's been so muddy and rainy, it wasn't worth doing), and I was disappointed by the corn maze. Let me explain: the maze itself was great! Lots of loops, false trails, dead ends. The whole maze took us 24 minutes. My problem was that the trails were extremely narrow and we had to dodge around plants that had overgrown the trails with thorny spiky balls. If the trail is going to be so narrow, they really should have someone trim it from time to time. Those spiky plants are quite the hazard. The rest of the play yard: fabulous! Lots to play with, a HUGE sand hill with a slide, a cow train--my kid didn't wanna leave. And that's before we even got to the animals. All in all, a very pleasureable day. It was very fun”

“They took out their cornmazes, but still do tractor rides. The food made fresh is fantastic and it has a good little playground for the kids. Good choice of pumpkins, but the corn maze was definitely a staple we miss.”
