Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Alabama.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“such a fun place!! lots of little stands for food and snacks and coffee and souvenirs. the pumpkin selection was great and the staff were all very friendly. the corn maze was cool but pretty much just a path not a maze. the only real downside to me was how packed it was and how they didn’t enforce the mask rule on anyone including their staff. we got there when they opened and the line was already long, but by the time we left in the early afternoon it was pretty crazy so definitely get there early!!”

“Everyone was friendly and helpful. Kids had a lot of fun. I have a three year old and a one year old. There were times where they both didn’t want to leave the spot we were at. My son really liked the fire truck and feeding the animals. I liked that the price for the pumpkins and getting in was reasonable. We will be back before the season is over.”

“Went this weekend on a date and had an amazing time!! Well worth the cost and drive! The pumpkins we picked were great and loved the food trucks. The corn maze was closed this year because of a drought, but the sunflowers were gorgeous! Loved feeding the pigs! :)”
