For those with a spirit of adventure, I wholeheartedly urge you to venture deeper into this golden ocean of flowers. Just be sure to don sturdy shoes that are ready to traverse a little dust as you fully envelop yourself in the spellbinding beauty that surrounds you. Breathe in every moment in this dazzling paradise! I've never encountered anything quite like it! The sheer size of that sunflower field is awe-inspiring! One can only imagine the love and meticulous care that go into nurturing such a magnificent display! It felt like a tangible ray of sunshine, radiating warmth and joy! Laughter and delight filled the air with every visitor who came to admire the splendor of this field. I believe that everyone should have the chance to experience this breathtaking sight at least once in their lifetime!”

“Super scenic during the sunflower bloom. There is a very nice store associated with the farm that has many local artists creations. There is also a bakery on the premises that has awesome cinnamon buns. Worth a visit! Lots of different places to park and walk, gently, among the sunflowers. If you go early in the AM be prepared with hiking boots and gaters if you have them. The grass and ground are very wet so expect to get nature on you :) The owners of the farm are super nice people as are the staff. Visiting is free, but be kind and leave a donation if you can, there are containers around the farm along with a QR code for Venmo. This is the place in the area to see Sunflowers in the sunflower state of Kansas.”

“Truly an incredible and beautiful place! It was so fun to walk amongst the flowers, which seemed to go on for quite a ways! Much larger field than I anticipated. Thank you to the farmers who put this on, it’s breathtaking❤️ Several kids were going around gouging out the majority of a flower’s seeds, or “drawing” on the flower’s face by removing certain seeds to create a picture, before moving on and defacing several more. Kinda unfortunate they couldn’t leave the flowers alone for everyone to enjoy, but walking up far enough will get you out of that marked flower area”

“If walking through a sea of sunflowers sounds like a dream, you should visit Grinter's Sunflower Farm in summer or fall. The Grinter family didn’t expect their sunflower field, grown for birdseed, to become a tourist spot. But with 40 acres of sunflowers, it’s hard to resist, and visitors come from all over the world. The bloom time changes each year, but the sunflowers usually bloom in late August or early September. The season is short, lasting only about two weeks, so don’t miss it!”

“Gorgeous acres of sunflowers 🌻 so grateful that the owners let the public come to enjoy them. This is a field with lots of dirt and bugs. Be prepared. Leave no trace behind. There are no clear walkways. Be careful where you step. Pick up after yourself and be grateful the hosts allow you to be on their property. (I did not make this smiley faces. I just took the pictures)”

“Fairly easy to find. Went on a weeknight so parking was busy but not like the weekends, we got a spot pretty quickly in the main lot. Lots of sunflowers and decent space between them so you can easily walk around. Flowers vary in height by a foot or more, some are closer to 5 feet tall, while others are more like 3 feet tall. Great space to take pics!”

“I have never seen anything else like it! I loved seeing this field of sunflowers! It’s ginormous! I can only imagine the care that goes into this field! It was a ray of sunshine that you can touch! I could hear laughter and joy from the people that came to see this field. I think everyone should experience this at least once in their lifetime!”

“Yes it’s very pretty but aside from snapping a couple pics there just isn’t much to do here. I guess I was expecting more pathways through the flowers and possibly other stuff to do (we realized there’s a bit more down the road at the general store). Overall we spent less than 10 minutes here. It does seem extremely popular with family photographers!”
