Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Vermont.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

“So Vermont! Apples were plentiful and priced accordingly. Tractor ride to the lower orchards where we had a chance to see their new plants was a nice touch! Ladders are available all over the orchards so you can grab and move them as you need to. Any size pumpkin for $10! Cinnamon and sugar donuts are a must, along with some fresh pressed apple cider! Our son had a cider slushy that he LOVED. A playground for the kids, plenty of parking, and friendly, knowledgeable staff! 10/10 recommend! I believe we paid $45 for a peck and a half bushel.”

“We always come here in the Fall to pick our own apples. The prices are reasonable, and apple picking is a fun family activity. They explain everything clearly in terms of where the apples are that you want and where the best picking is. Everyone is always super friendly. And their cider donuts and apple crisp and amazing! Well worth the drive (although the scenery on the way up is pretty stellar itself).”

“Our go to spot to get apples. Unfortunately it was raining when we came. So, we just got one bag of McIntosh (it’s good and crisp!) and a small jug of apple cider. Plenty of variety of apples to choose from. Pumpkins 🎃 and other vegetables. They got good decorative gourds too (they were out when we went). Plenty of maple products. They do have a playground to keeps the kids busy.”

“I've been going here ever since I was a child, I worked here, I plan on going here again. The playground is still standing sturdy after years, the orchard has the best apples on the island and the staff is always friendly. The local products are the best, the cider donuts, pies, and all are made right there -- couldn't ask for more. Can't wait for this upcoming season.”

“The apples are huge! The man running the stand is very nice and their pumpkin selection is excellent! We couldn’t get any donuts because they were sold out, but they sounded divine. We also picked up some cider and I’m so excited to drink it. Will be back!”

“Amazing apple donuts, hot and fresh! Great cider too! Been there twice, visiting from Canada. It is our go-to orchard!”
