What visitors say

“"I have been a customer since 2013. One single recommendation from a friend has turned me into a long time customer. Over the years they have stayed consistent with serving fresh foods, outstanding customer service, and family values that are delivered from their farm to your table. I have watched them grow a small business into a thriving community market. Always staying true to serving you the best foods for the best value, with your family's health and budget in mind. I absolutely love watching them grow their family and business. If you love to support local, this is the place to patronize! You will not be disappointed!"”

“Harr farms is AMAZING! I regularly purchase all types of meat, eggs, butter, and juice from the Soulard stand. I literally will not buy butter or bacon anywhere else - I would rather go without. The quality and taste is just unmatchable. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I will be ordering a prime rib roast for Christmas soon!”

“They sell ostrich burgers! I come every Saturday looking for the ostrich. It's in stock most of the time but sometimes is out for a while. It's a great beef alternative.”

“They have the BEST Cajun bacon around. From the chicken, to the pork chops, even the honey is all fresh and delicious. Friendly faces every weekend”

“Love the Cajun bacon drive over an hour just to get a couple of pounds”

“I love you all and I shop with you weekly and purchase holiday meats from you. However the last four times I have been there and ordered a weeks meats plus dog treats. I just assume I am getting everything and pay. The last four weeks I arrive home and missing something. Guess I did not pay for it but I don’t ever ask for a receipt. Today I even question the YOzuNG woman who waited on me I’d I has everything and headaches. Guess what… no pork steaks when I got home. This has been consistent for my last four visits. Frustrating because I love to buy local but when I get home and don’t have my order and have to go to Schnucks I am sad… I prefer to buy local! Can you do better with more efficient employees.”

“They have decent products; however, the blonde-haired boy seems to have issues calculating prices correctly. I’m not sure if it’s accidental or intentional. Either way, someone might want to get him a calculator. While he’s not blatantly rude, his behavior comes across as subtly disrespectful. When you address an issue, they snicker and whisper to each other, which is uncalled for. It’s especially off-putting because they make it so obvious. If you’re going to gossip in front of a customer, at least have some tact.”

“After buying 2 ducks for 100 I asked if they had been flying at the farm and how old they were. I was met with only "you can definitely trim the feathers if youre worried they'll fly away". Duhhhh. I obviously know I can trim the feathers. What a bad response. I asked if anyone saw them flying when they were trying to get them so as to know if I had to waste my time trimming them or if they couldn't fly far like my other domestic ducks. I was very specific in my email after buying. They neglected to answer if they could fly far or high or not. If they just "caught them the night before I got them" like they said, then they clearly would know if they could fly far. That's why I asked. They also didn't answer my question about how old the ducks are either. ??? Keep in mind I told them I was buying them for more egg production yet they couldn't even give me an age on them.... Very simple questions. They got their sale and then just became stubborn with answering properly. Poor customer service.”
