“Stand 99 for plants, the waffle boss for food, and the vietnamese coffee stand with kebabs are my 3 go tos in the soulard market. The chicken stuffed waffles are something you dont want to miss. But get there early! He forms a heck of a line! And goes till they run out. Really hope these guys can get a brick and mortar location. Huge hit! Soo darned tasty!! Thank you waffle boss!! Stand 99 has some really great deals on plants and veggies in lots of variety to choose from. Just bought a fig tree and monstera plant as additions to my growing plant room! The vietnamese stand near stand 99 on the 7th st side of the market has truly amazing coffee and kebabs, be sure to try to sesame balls too for a semi sweet treat thats crunchy and soft both so good!”

“Great farmer’s market with lots of vendor variety. We came while visiting St. Louis, so we didn’t buy any produce or food, but everything looked good! We found a place selling STL t-shirts, so we got one of those as a souvenir. highly recommend for locals looking to buy produce and other foods. I also recommend for visitors looking for a farmer’s market experience - and if you’re staying somewhere you can cook, they have fresh food! There was a Latino festival going on there while we were visiting, and it was amazing - lots of vendors for goods, food, and refreshments. There was also live music, and we got to see Brenda K. Starr - she was so fun and engaging!”

“This place is such a STL Staple. Fresh produce, local food vendors, and people selling their body oils, fragrances, foods and more. Prices on everything is reasonable. It gets crowded on the weekends. If you try and stagger the time that you go, it may not be as busy. Parking is meter/paid parking, but you may luck up and find free parking. It's a must if you are ever visiting STL or if you simply want to go to the farmers market!! I love going to the Soulard spice shop. It is one of my favourites.I have a few preferred produce stands i love going to for fresh fruits and vegetables. And don't forget about the flower shop.”

“Such a cool experience! I'm from Florida where there's a ton of indoor flea market, and this place really reminds me of them. It made me happy! Very busy and fast paced. A lot of cool things to see at the various booths. Some absolutely delicious prepared foods and produce!”

“It's been years since I've shopped there it's smaller some of the farmers have stopped coming but I enjoyed the shopping, got turnip greens collards, cabbage sprouts, neckbones I'll be back soon”

“I go for wonderful produce markets with fresh fruits and vegetables and meet markets for BBQ. There are many things to see and eat. Plus, cold draft beer and mixed drinks.”

“Great local market. Fresh unique produce. We really loved the food stands.”

“Don’t go on a weekday morning. Their social media always shows pictures of stands full of produce and says “always open” but we went on a normal weekday and saw 2-3 open stands. Didn’t get anything I had in mind that their social media repeatedly posted. The others that arrived when we did pretty much left when we did, too. Paid for parking and didn’t need it. Someone walked past us and even said, “Better come another time when they’re open.” One of the few vendors there told us it’s only full on Saturdays, which we didn’t know, because social media advertises it as the same daily. We drove over an hour for disappointment.”
