Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Brought the kids this weekend, and everyone, even the teenagers, had a great time. I thought we might stay a couple hours, but we were there open to close and kept finding more to do. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Much better than typical fair food. The people were all very friendly and helpful. Only disappointment is we didn't get to feed the cows twice! We were too busy playing in the flowers and missed the last train. ❤️ It was a joyful, beautiful day and I highly recommend it to you and your family.”

“Can’t say enough amazing things about this place!!! So much fun for the kiddos, and so many things for them to enjoy ☺️ from the animals, to the slides, to the swings, to the corn/sand pits, to the rides!! Not to mention the food & sweet treats 😍 10/10 recommend for the littles… found this place back in 2018, and came back in 2021 with my daughter, and have loved to watch them grow. Now we go multiple times each season, and every time is as fun as the last 🙌🏼”

“We come here every year. Everything is included in your ticket except for the food. This one is very kid friendly. There is a play area for the kids, feed/pet the cows, go on a tractor train ride around the farm. They have a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and plenty of areas to take fall pictures. The best part is they have homemade pumpkin pie! This is the place to go if you are looking for a family friendly fall festival!”

“We loved it! They had so much to do for the kids. The barrel and hay rides were awesome! We got to feed cows during one of the rides. My kids loved the slides and the tire swings. I loved the food and the pies. They had golf, corn mazes, pumpkin, a sand pit and a corn pit…it was so fun. The workers are so nice! I definitely recommend visiting them.”

“This is a real working farm that's fun for the whole family. There's a playground, miniature golf course, hayrides, train barrel rides, cow feeding, a play area for kids, food and drinks, seasonal fun, and more. Plus, the people who work there are really friendly.”

“First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised. We generally do fall fun at Hunsader Farms in Bradenton (don't open until October 1st) but saw Harvest Holler was opening for the season and didn't want to miss a new opportunity! They accept cash and debit/credit with $1 processing fee per transaction. There's a good bit to see and do but the entry fee is pricey (not compared to Busch Gardens or Disney though) at $17/adult and $14/child. No additional charge for hay rides or any other entertainment. There's chickens and cows, a pig and a horse. The chickens are fast, and smart, so good luck trying to catch one! They have decent food options at Pawpaw's (hot dogs, fries, etc) as well as pumpkin pie and peach or apple cobbler inside the store. Cider and fresh made donuts would be an awesome fall feast addition! They have pre-picked small, medium, large and extra large pumpkins available in their "pumpkin patch". I didn't think to take a pic of the sign but I think it was small/$3.50, medium/$5, large/$10 and extra large/$15. The combine slide is FAST! The mini golf leaves a lot to be desired (a little artificial grass could go a long way!) . There was even a real snake in the corn maze! There's corn kernel pits and the largest sandbox I've ever seen! Peak season they see 5,000 visitors over a weekend so be prepared for some elbow bumping if you visit around Halloween.”

“Love this place. The staff are absolutely the friendliest. The lady at the front is a bit rude she told my sister in law she couldn't take her water inside the place due to a policy that they don't allow any outside food or drinks inside the place. She explained to her that she needed to take her meds that she had to carry with her to take at a specific time. She said no, we can't allow that but right before she said that she said the same thing to a mother with a big water bottle inside a stroller the lady said she needed to mix her babies formula with the water. She then let her take it in. Overall, the place is great. I visit every year.”

“A good place to spend time with family. Farm was well maintained, toilets were clean. There are play area for kids , corn maze ,little pumpkin patch. You can see chicken, rosters, pigs. There are tractor rides in which you can feed cows and horses. Overall it was good. You are supposed to not bring outside food. I wish tickets were slightly cheaper . Don’t expect it like pumpkin patch that happens in up north. Still it was good in terms of nearby Florida pumpkin patch.”
