“This is our second year tree hunting at Helemano Farms and my family and I enjoy the outing. Fast and friendly service. We went at 10 am when they opened the Sunday after Thanksgiving. It was not crowded at all and there were parking lot attendants guiding customers on where to park. Our Cypress tree is by far the best fresh cut tree we’ve ever had and we’re from the Pacific Northwest where there are many tree farms. You stand in line and wait for assistance, you’re asked what type of tree and height, they walk you over to the type of tree requested, and then it’s up to you and your family to choose the tree. They color code the trees and tag them with the price clearly visible. We asked if we could cut the tree ourselves, but our guide turned us down for safety reasons and policies, which is understandable. We asked a lot of questions and our guide answered all proficiently. He took our picture with the tree before he chopped it down. I got the family’s video carrying the tree off. Our guide wrapped the tree in a net and waited while we paid for the tree, then carried it to the car. The most stress free tree hunting experience of my life. My husband and I were with our 2 children (7 and 13 years old). Our kids had a great time. Cons: They don’t have a tree shaker to shake out any bugs or critters from the tree, so I suggest you do that outside before you bring the tree inside your house. Pros: Everything else. A great Christmas family tradition.”

“Bought a tree from here and the costumer service was really nice. They were very accommodating and nice. We were not rush at any time we were able to walk around and look at trees and was able to pick the one we liked they brought it, and put the net on it and even load it in our car. Honestly 5 stars will come again next year. Thank you for being patient, respectful kind and having great costumer service”

“This tree farm is amazing! It is more than 50 acres and they grow both new baby Norfolk pines and older ones here. They are planted in rows and they allowed me to walk freely to look around the farm. I was not disappointed. They have another type of Christmas tree available plus the gorgeous decorated wreaths and candy cane shaped ready-to-hang decorated Christmas item.”

“Absolutely wonderful way to support local business and grown on Oahu trees! We love the different varieties of trees they have, not just your standard Christmas tree. They have all shapes and sizes, and make the whole process super easy! They're a little pricier than your big box store, but I'd much rather pay that for a locally grown tree!”

“Really great experience. We didn’t want a cut tree so we’re grateful for the option of having a potted tree, and all the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s a bit out of the way, but so worth it — great trees, quiet area, really nice all around. Much more of a magical holiday experience than grabbing a pre cut tree off a lot!”

“Great way to support local products on Oahu and in Hawaii. The prices are better than those shipped from the mainland. Norfolk Pine can regrow form main stem! They walk with you to cut the tree. Great family fun.”

“Locally grown Christmas trees: Norfolk pine and Cypress. You could choose any trees on the farm or pre-cut trees that they have already trimmed. They wrap the tree and put in on your car for you. Reasonable price. You pay $60 for a 5’ or 6’ tree. Would be a great experience to bring kids along to show them a Christmas tree farm!”

“Had an amazing experience picking out a Norfolk pine for this year's Christmas tree. Our helper Larry did an awesome job finding us exactly what we wanted. We'll be back next year!”
