“One of the more interesting attractions at the Dole Plantation. It may not seem it, but the maze is HUGE!! Pros: It is fun to have the kids try and find the 7 different stations on their ticket/card. Once they find a station, they can stamp/draw a special mark on their ticket to collect them all and turn them in at the end. Stations give you a nice contextualized history of some part of the Islands; great for kids alike. Cons: The map is very small on the back of the ticket, so trying to navigate to the next station is hard to see for even good eyes. Overall though, you can get yourself lost in there and just have fun walking around without the map. Plus, the bushes are not terribly dense all the time, so if you need, you can always find your way back to the center of the pineapple and back out. A few nice places to sit as well for those not wanting to walk through the maze:)”

“Nice place to have a good time, make sure you do not get lost because the maze is quite large. Also it could be a bit hot in summer time”

“Beautiful maze. Went when it was raining but still found a way to make it fun. The stencil scavenger hunt idea is a nice touch.”

“First, when we visited there, it was very crowded and difficult to find a parking spot. You may want to plan to visit them accordingly otherwise you may meed to spend a long time to wait and experience the facilities on the site. My daughter is a huge fan of the maze, and it's why we actually visited this maze. They are just fine if you visit there first time. However they do not restore the wall of the maze and you can just go through the wall to find the destination. It seems that the maze is not take care of the Dole anymore but they still charge you the entrance fee. If you travel and visit with kids, it is okay to experience just for fun. But don't take this maze as a serious maze.”

“Looked cool but it was closed with no explanation given. Kinda of a bummer but we walked the perimeter and peeked inside. After some wild dole.whip ice cream induced speculation we surmized the maze was closed to retrieve visitor bodies from the previous day before the giant snails got to them. Two stars because world largest maze is cool but unable to.knock it out as it was closed. There will have to be some debate as to whether or not we can cross this off the bucket list.”

“Honestly, it’s not really worth spending money to go. You’re better off checking out the nearby Wahiawā Botanical Garden instead. It’s a free park, and while it’s not a must-see attraction, it’s still nice for a casual stroll or just to relax for a bit. If you’re planning to spend money on activities, the maze is fun for kids—but aside from that, don’t expect too much.”

““I’m in a glass case of disappointment!” Well, folks, I just returned from the Dole Pineapple Maze, and let me tell you something: it was less of a tropical adventure and more of a botanical betrayal. I walked in expecting lush hedges, whimsical twists, and the sweet scent of pineapple glory. What I got was a horticultural crime scene. The hedges? Oh, the hedges. They looked like they’d been trimmed by a blindfolded raccoon with anger issues. Patchy, brown, and about as majestic as a soggy sponge. I’ve seen better foliage in a gas station parking lot. And the maze features — broken! The interactive signs were either missing, cracked, or covered in what I can only assume was the tears of disappointed tourists. One marker pointed me toward “fun,” but it led directly to an overflowing trash can that smelled like expired fruit and shattered dreams. Speaking of trash cans — my God. They were bursting like a piñata at a frat party. Pineapple peels, soda cups, and what I believe was a rogue flip-flop. It was less “aloha” and more “apocalypse.” Maintenance? Nonexistent. I saw one poor staff member trying to fix a broken sprinkler with duct tape and a prayer. The whole place felt like it had been abandoned by the gods of tropical joy. I came for whimsy. I came for wonder. I left with mosquito bites and emotional damage. Stay classy, Dole. But maybe… clean up your maze.”

“Not worth it at all! You can tell that at one point, this was pretty amazing, but they seem to have completely stopped taking care of it. It is rundown, bare and at most points you can hardly tell it was a maze. And the ‘stops’ you’re supposed to stop at were mostly broken (or even completely missing) and you couldn’t even ‘finish’ the tasks. DO NOT PAY for this.”
