“I had a great experience along with my son and family. I am so glad I found this truly hidden gem that is only 55 miles from Rye, Westchester, NY. The Apple Orchard is not busy, non commerical and that is what I wanted for my family. This Apple Orchard is very well managed. The owner is very friendly, he spent good amount of time chit-chatting with us. We really enjoyed picking apples, taking pictures and just hung around because we enjoyed looking at all the apple trees that were loaded with apples and weather was super beautiful.”
“Hidden Gem Orchard is a Gem worth finding! The Farm Stand is always filled with incredible varieties including heirlooms that you can't find anywhere else. If you get there early enough you can snag some killer cider donuts too. It's a terrific spot for families to pick-your own apples. The hay wagon takes you for a great ride up the hill to the orchard where it is a treat to fill bags right from the source. And what a view! No doubt, the best apples from our favorite orchard. Always worth the trip!”
“Hidden Gem Orchard has an incredible variety of delicious apples ! We count down till their opening each year and haven’t stopped telling everyone we know to visit them. Our go to apples are the honey crisps early in the season but then we switch it up later on. The description cards of each variety’s flavor is really helpful picking which to try next ! We feel so lucky to have such an amazing, high quality orchard that we’ve completely stopped buying grocery store apples.”
“The name doesn't lie, it is truly a hidden gem! The history of each variety is fascinating and HGO offers so many flavors that it's hard to choose. When we accidentally came on a day they were closed I was able to email them and work out a pickup. It was above and beyond service. We have a lot of great apples in VA but I'll keep going to HGO every year for the special ones and a unique adventure.”
“Absolutely a five-star orchard. We had a special situation. The owner Jim and the staff were so accommodating and kind. The apples are delicious. Huge selection of common and unusual apples. Some of the apples are absolutely enormous! The prices are good, it was an all-around wonderful afternoon. We plan on being frequent customer and will be back again soon. Highly recommended!”
“It is a hidden gem! We went at the end of the season but they had plenty of apples. We took a hay ride to the trees. Only open Fri, Sat and Sun. Little market for apples and a few other items. Has been there for 3 years and I hope they succeed!”

“Exceptional if you are an Apple connoisseur! You can experience true Apple picking and a hay ride. No corn mazes or much traditional roadside merch which I like. Simple but beautiful. Note there was only one port-o potty! So take care of business before you go.”
