“I visited Hoens Orchard expecting a fun day, but I almost got poisoned by an apple I picked. It looked fine but had a strong chemical taste, suggesting it hadn’t been properly cleaned or treated. When I raised this with the staff, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. This could have been a serious health hazard. Hoens Orchard needs to take better care to ensure their produce is safe for customers. Be cautious if you plan to visit.”
