A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Connecticut.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“My hubby and I went here for some apple picking. We realized we locked our keys in the car immediately. Luckily they have a very big orchard with plenty of trees to examine as well as a hayride to a pumpkin patch. We explained the situation to the staff so they could understand why we were just hanging out towards the end, they were very accommodating and empathetic. Orchard was impressive and the people were hospitable.”

“Took our pups and walked through the orchard and down to the pumpkin field! It was hot and no natural water on the path we took, so make sure you have water if you're bringing your pups on a hot day. Great pumpkins and apples, great people 😁”
