Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Connecticut.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

What visitors say

21 reviews on file · showing 8 visitor notes from the listing data.

“Apple picking was such a pleasant experience here. The farm is clean and spacious. There was no overcrowding and there are two tractors that continuously circle the fields to pick you up and bring you back and forth between the different picking areas. The apples were so beautiful and juicy. Idared, Empires and Johnagolds were available and all were equally delicious. The blend made for a yummy pie. The pumpkins were quite large as well although it was still a little early to grab a few for Halloween right now. Even though it was such a warm weekend it wasn't overcrowded with people. We had a great time. There is also a decent sized store before you reach the farm that sells goods made from harvesting. You'll have a good time if you decide to go here.”

“Just found this farm store. It is fabulous..good farm fresh produce and apple cider donuts..yum..worth a little drive..nice employees and decent prices.”

“I have been going sine my son was 6 months old. He is now 21! We're going tomorrow as our yearly fall tradition. All of our kids love it here!!!”

“We have been going there for 25 years now to pick their terrific Jona Gold apples. We drive over an hour to get there, but it's well worth it.”

“The apples are sooo good I can’t get enough. Love the customer service also!”

“Lots of fun! Plenty of ripe apples and easy to pick! Friendly service!”

“Great place to go with the family… i wish they would at lease take a mower in between the isles so you don’t twist your ankle…. My stepfather had to stop because of the poorly maintained isles … Could also use some signs to show what apples are where..”

“While I loved the selection and the prices, the service was just so bad today. We just left. After slipping on something on the ground right in front of the registers, and getting behind someone who was clearly just a friend of the two cashier girls, who were just eating donuts and talking- the second he left they both just went on their phones and ignored us. We then went to the other line of about 5 people, the cashiers being two boys who were actually on top of things. While waiting in the other line someone just put their apples onto the girls scale and they decided to do their job, the girl on her phone even looked back at us in the line and didn’t say anything. So annoying”
