“Jack’s Halloween Pumpkin Pop-Up Bar in Chicago was an absolutely incredible experience — like stepping into a Halloween wonderland designed for the ultimate photo op. The entire place felt like a glorified selfie station in the best possible way, with every corner offering something new and eye-catching. From glowing pumpkins to spooky backdrops and eerie lighting, it was clear that this pop-up was made for people who love capturing fun, festive memories. You couldn’t take a bad picture if you tried — the whole place was just that visually stunning. What made it even more impressive was learning that many of the props and decorations actually came from the same company that supplies Six Flags holiday decor. That explained the level of detail and quality throughout the venue — everything looked like it was straight out of a professional theme park haunt. There were elaborate animatronics, fog effects, and intricate displays that made you feel fully immersed in the Halloween spirit. It wasn’t just a bar; it was an experience that blended art, atmosphere, and creativity in a way that stood out from anything else in the city. The drinks were just as impressive as the visuals, with themed cocktails that matched the festive mood perfectly. Each one was cleverly crafted and added to the fun of the night. If I were to go again, I’d definitely purchase one of their ticket packages — it’s absolutely worth it for the full experience. Between the atmosphere, the creativity, and the quality, Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-Up is a must-visit for anyone who loves Halloween, good drinks, and unforgettable photo ops.”

“It was an awesome experience. We have went year after year. We also go to the event in the winter time. It is expensive. The parking is crazy. There is always a ton of people. That is the negatives. Now that being said, if you can deal with that it is such a magical time. The sights, sounds, and smells just scream fall. There are quaint photo ops everywhere. You can purchase food as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Families also bring their children. It really is a good time though a bit pricey. We will continue to come back and attend the winter festival.”

“My family including 2 girl teens and a toddler loved this cute place! Great place for cute photos with so many different scenes and backgrounds so come prepared! The signature drinks were good, we tried every one! Food truck was delicious and not too overly priced! Corn maze and games were also fun! We came at 6pm which was a great time with no crowds yet because by 8pm it was crowded with lines to get in and def getting busy inside. 6 pm was perfect time to get beautiful pictures and enjoy the place! 2 hours is more than enough time!”

“I liked it. I liked the atmosphere and the music was just great. We came on Sunday and it wasn’t a lot of people. The drink is good, but I recommend you to buy a ticket or drink already included. It’s a little cheaper. They have a lot of stages to take a pictures and every one is amazing. We came at 6 pm and it was perfect. We had time to enjoy during the day and during the night too.”

“Jack’s Pumpkin Pop-up is such a fun spot for a family outing or a day with friends! There are plenty of photo ops, a corn maze, axe throwing, carnival games, and even a mechanical bull for some extra excitement. You can see everything in about an hour, but it’s totally worth it, especially if you love taking great pictures.”

“My sister and I went mid October. It’s super festive and great for pictures. Also the pumpkins are amazing! We bought two (pay for on way out or pre purchase) We bought ticket package for axe throwing tickets, 2 drinks each (we did beer), and games (do not recommend). Axe throwing and similar games are fine. I wasn’t expecting to do well at axe throwing since most people we watched completely missed but I hit the mark all three times. The other games (basketball, shooting, throwing ball at plastic plates and balloon popping) are scams. Some people (walking around with stuffed animals) manage to win but I don’t know how. No one could hit the target with the rubber bullets and likely rigged mechanisms. Watched the gun jam multiple times on the third shot. Someone told us the rims on the basketball game were not completely round but oval (which you can see when you’re at a certain angle) so good luck. They give you a small bean bag to throw at the balloons (can’t trust people with darts anymore) and softballs (weights vary) to throw at the plastic plates. You can not share meaning I can’t throw twice and let my sister throws once. Each game costs 6 tickets so if they give you a set of 20 obviously you’ll have to buy more to use them up. Go for the decor and atmosphere, skip the games.”

“Very nice, I had so much fun. They have alot to do it's adult and kid friendly. It's so pretty at night. They have a mechanical bull, drinks, pig racing, cocktails, food, so many photo ops, corn maze etc.”

“It was a very disappointing experience. My friends and I only lasted about an hour for the entire event, and for $40 online w/ taxes, or $46 at the door w/ tax, it was not worth the price for the experience. (To do any of the axe throwing, carnival games, fortune telling, etc. it will cost extra.) The website says that food trucks will be there on select weekends, but they never stated which weekends that'll occur, so dont rely on the 1 food stall with overpriced food to be fulfilling/enjoyable. In addition, there is a TON of drink stalls everywhere on the property, even some that are hidden away. My friend paid extra to receive 2 drinks included with her ticket purchase called "Drink Up Witches." (The ticket was an additional $15.) When we went to scan our tickets, my friend was allowed to go through the gate. However, when it came time to redeem her drinks and went to one of the various drink stalls, she was told that she can only use drink tickets, of which she was never provided at the gate when she scanned in, nor was she ever informed that she needed the tickets. (We assumed that the QR code for her entry ticket functioned as her drink redemption method.) Furthermore, when she went to redeem her drink tickets for a warm cider and a cocktail, she was told that the cider was excluded, even though nowhere on the website's ticket description nor their FAQs mentioned anything about any drinks that were excluded. (She switched it for a hot chocolate, which was not only really bitter, but also the exact same price as the cider.) Finally, because all of the other activities was an up-charge to the regular entry ticket, there was nothing else to do other than the corn maze and the excessive amount of photo op backgrounds. In sum, you are paying $40+ for a corn maze and taking photos. For me and my friends, Jack's was not worth the price for the lack of experience we received. To make matters worse, if you wanted a pumpkin, it'll cost extra, too.”
