“Just spent a beautiful morning picking raspberries on this peaceful farm. Karen and Joe are extremely gracious and welcoming hosts every time I visit!! And the berries, well they taste AMAZING! I was able to easily pick some yellow and purple and a bunch of red and black! And to me the price is just right for the truly delicious and organic berries they put their love into!”

“I recently visited JK orchard with high hopes of a fun family outing, but unfortunately, our experience was not as family-friendly as anticipated. The farm's policies were quite restrictive, especially for families with multiple children. Their daytime hours only allow one adult per two children, making it difficult for single parents or families with more than two kids to participate without coordinating additional adult supervision. Moreover, the evening hours are reserved for adults only, further limiting family participation. The pricing was another concern, with strawberries costing $10 per pound. Additionally, there were specific instructions to pick both large and small strawberries, despite paying a premium price. We were also asked to discard any rotten strawberries into separate buckets, adding to the inconvenience. A particularly disappointing aspect was that my friend was not allowed to bring her stroller into the field, even though she had a sleeping infant and could have easily managed along the grass side or left the stroller at the edge. This policy made the experience even more challenging for parents with young children. To top it off, the strawberries we picked were lackluster in taste, which was quite disheartening given the effort and cost involved. Overall, while the idea of a u-pick farm is appealing, the current policies and the quality of the strawberries make it difficult to recommend for families looking for a pleasant and accommodating outing.”
