A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Ohio.

  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“If autumn had a home address, it would be Mapleside Farms in Brunswick, Ohio. 🍁✨ Spanning over 100 acres of rolling countryside, Mapleside Farms transforms into a fall wonderland every year with its iconic Pumpkin Village, family activities, and the nostalgic scent of warm cider and baked goods drifting through the crisp air. Their Super Pass gives you all-day access to more than 20 farm attractions — from the Hay Hill, Tractor Mountain, and Corn Box to Pig Races, Duck Races, Spider Web Climb, Cow & Pig Trains, 311-ft Super Slide, Pirate Ship, 2 Corn Mazes, and Billy Goat Bluff. It’s the perfect place for kids to burn energy and adults to rediscover their inner child. Add in live entertainment throughout the season and you’ve got one of the most joyful, picture-perfect fall destinations in Ohio. And then there’s the bakery — a temptation all its own. Inside, shelves are lined with homemade jellies, jams, fruit butters, salsas, salad dressings, sauces, baking mixes, syrups, and an ever-changing array of freshly baked breads, pies, pastries, and cookies. Their famous apple cider and caramel apples are fall staples, and if you time it right, you’ll catch the smell of warm donuts rolling out of the fryer. Mapleside isn’t just a farm — it’s an experience that celebrates everything we love about Ohio autumns: community, comfort, and that unmistakable magic that happens when you mix hayrides, cider, and laughter under golden leaves. Whether you come for the pumpkins, stay for the pie, or visit just for that small-town warmth that makes fall feel like a hug — Mapleside Farms is where the season truly comes alive. 🍂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A must-visit for families, foodies, and anyone who believes fall should taste as good as it looks.”

The staff consistently does an amazing job keeping the day running smoothly while creating a welcoming atmosphere. We always look forward to returning to Mapleside Farms!”

“Pumpkin Village was such a great time. Fun for everyone. The pig race commentators do such a great job. The workers were all kind. The food and apple store are awesome. We will definitely be back and you should visit it. We will spread the word”

“Very large and gorgeous autumnal property. The food is tasty. The super slide is a fun ride. The marketplace has fresh fruit on sale for very reasonable prices.”

“I recently attended the "Vino the Way" event at Mapleside Farms and had a great time! The event kicked off with a fun tractor ride to the corn maze, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The five tasting stations could have offered a bit more variety in wine and beer selections, but the staff at each station were friendly, entertaining, and very helpful. After the tastings, we explored the Pumpkin Village. It has a good mix of activities for both adults and children, making it a perfect spot for families. We also shopped at the apple store, which had a great selection of farm-fresh apples from the orchard. Additionally, we tried the new "Bloom" bakery. The ladies at the bakery were extremely friendly, and everything from cupcakes to bread tasted great. I especially appreciated that the desserts were not overly sweet. However, I didn't notice any prices on the baked goods, so I would recommend displaying them better in the future.”

“If you are looking for some good entertaining fun for everyone in your family, come check out Mapleside Farms. I have been coming here for years and I always enjoy myself with my family. There is one set price to enjoy all of the 20 plus attractions they offer. They have live entertainment like the pig and duck races. Hay rides, hay stacks, teepees, kids bouncy area, 2 corn mazes, billy goats, super slide, pumpkin patch, and a beer garden. There are yummy concessions to purchase like corn on the cob, turkey legs, pulled pork, burgers, hotdogs, ice cream, onion rings, fries, pies, cookies, apples, and other treats. Overall a great time and loads of fun.”

“Very fun! Went there for their fall festival..only annoying part was that we ordered tickets online but still stood in the ticket/entrance line for about ten minutes to get in once there...kinda didn't make sense to buy tickets ahead of time..but anyways,a fun place with cute activities for kids- best part was the slide!! Recommend for kids 6 and under”

“I remember when it was a nice family friendly pumpkin patch, even on the weekends. Now it has turned into an amusement park tourist attraction. There's a number of things to do but Very overwhelming with no limit to people let in. Crazy lines marijuana smell in parts. and $76 for a family of four.”
