Johansen Farms Children's Zoo & Pumpkin Farm

“Annual Autumn event for us. You pay $14.95 per person to go in the back section where all the farm animals and rides are. The front where the shop, cafe, mums and pumpkins are is free admission. In the area where you pay admission, you can feed goats, donkeys, sheep. They have a house with lots of baby chicks that you can hold. It's quite the highlight of the experience. There's a trainride for all. There's an area with blow-up football, basketball, and soccer activities. They also have a hayride, pony rides on the weekends, a simple corn maze, bounce houses for kids, and even an obstacle course for kids. There are pigs, chickens, roosters, turkeys, and a duck pond. Lovely place. They have a Pig Out Place to buy lunch as well, although not always opened on weekdays.”

“We frequently, go to Johansen's Farm with our children and grandchildren and absolutely, love it! My one grandson has s fall birthday and since he turned three we've been going there for his birthday celebration, ever since. He and his brother love feeding the animals, jumping on many inflatables, slides, train ride and scaring eachother in the corn maze. The farm is family-friendly and clean. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Not to mention they have different arrangement of delicious sweets, especially, my favorite, the apple cider donuts and various flavored pies. Instead of having a birthday cake, my grandson prefers these donuts.”

“It was my first pumpkin patch experience and it was very, very cool. So many options for pumpkins--sizes, colors, shapes. Lots of awesome decor for sale. The cafe area smelled amazing and sold coffee, cider, pastries, hot dogs, burgers, nachos, lots of options. We didn't have kids so we couldn't visit the petting zoo area but that's also an option! Overall a very fun way to spend an hour or so. 😀”

“A great place to take the kids in the fall. Rows of beautiful mums and pumpkins. There is a petting zoo for the kids, putting course, slides, a train and lots of animals to feed and pet. There is also a bakery with delicious baked goods to purchase. Also a craft store for the moms. If you get a good weather day, go take a look. You won't be disappointed.”

“During the fall, Johansen's is a great place to buy a pumpkin or apple cider donuts and pose for a family photo on their hay bale. The kids' zoo, however, is not a good value (and steep too, at $23/person) although the hayride is nice. Kids over 2yo are full price which is bogus, since most 3-4yo aren't tall enough to do the inflatables. Be sure to feed the goats on the roof! Parking is free. Overall, weigh your options at other places as Johansen's is cute but overpriced.”

“A petting zoo with only 1 animal to pet (goat). Baby chick's are available to hold but you can't take them out of the enclosure so small kids can't reach it. Pony rides are available if they fall within the weight limit. We went thinking our toddler would get introduced to a bunch of different farm animals. She wasn't interested in looking at animals in the enclosure because she wanted to interact with them. She was also too small for most of the inflatable stuff. I'd say ages 4-6 would have fun but anyone older or younger won't have much to do there. Better off going to one of the free places.”
