Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kentucky.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL experience. This was our first year going to this farm and my family as well as my sisters family had an absolute blast. Cost 9 dollars per person to get in (children under 4 are free) and all the activities are included. Soon as you walk into an open style barn that had pumpkins, gourds, honey, a corn pit, and wagons. Everything was clearly labeled with prices. Outside of that was a kiddo playground and a kids heaven with a jumping pillow, basketball, hay with tunnels, hay ride, corn maze, animals, and of course pumpkins. There was a structure with sweatshirts and t-shirts to buy, food, coffee, drinks, and a HUGE Pavillion to watch your kids run. The maze was marked throughout with QR codes for a scavenger hunt and map. Most importantly the options for pumpkins, which didnt look as impressive initially, actually turned out to be way more than enough. Pumpkins were .50 a pound”

“I have 3 kids 6 and under and this has been one of our favorite fall activities for the last few years! Hayride, pick your own pumpkins, animals, corn maze, play area, corn pit (kid favorite) and this year they added a giant pumpkin bounce pad. We spent hours here and the kids still weren’t ready to leave. The barn is full of unique gourds and pumpkins. Small cafe with a few food options and baked goods. Only complaint was the amount of bees around common areas (one friend got stung while visiting) Overall reasonable prices and lots of fun for the kids!”

“Our family had a great time at Just Piddlin. The kids jumped into the corn pit several times to bury each other, we managed to find our way out of the corn maze, took a hay ride around to scope out some pumpkins, the kids played on the playground area, we saw some farm animals (and pet the bunny), bought some apple cider, and picked our pumpkins. We were there for over 2 hours and the weather was beautiful. Everyone working on the farm was super friendly as well. We will be back again!”

“This place was great!!! Only $5 per person for a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, hay ride, corn maze, play ground and a corn box for the kids. By far the best pumpkin patch around. I would recommend this to anyone. They also offer food and desserts as well as souvenir clothing and a large variety of prepicked pumpkins. You can also pick your own pumpkins from the patch if you'd rather. This is a great place to take the whole family for an afternoon of fun.”

“This place is awesome. The people are super friendly and accommodating. Pumpkins and food are priced fair and the corn maze looked pretty cool. Huge pumpkin selection with good variety of sizes, colors and shapes. Easy to access all areas and no wait time for any activity! My kids loved the hayride, cornpit, and treats. I loved the wagons they have for you to take into the patch for easy pickin'!!”

“Just Piddlin Farm is a great family place, especially in fall. This place covers basically every aspect of common family fall activities, including a corn maze and pumpkin patch. Lots of good seating to watch the kids play. There is a playground for the kids and a small barn with some animals as well as a little bakery with drinks. Great place to go this time of year!”

“We had a great time at the pumpkin patch this Saturday! The hayride runs often — it’s a bit short but really nice. The prices are good, and the farm itself is beautiful. The corn maze is epic, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely a great place to visit in the fall!”
