Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“Such a fun spot! Lots of beautiful and beautifully ugly pumpkins and gourds to choose from. The employee was super kind and offered to take pictures for us. Lots of cute cats and baby cows to interact with and hand sanitizer everywhere to use before and after to keep the animals and humans safe :) Very reasonably priced pumpkins from itty bitty to giant. They also had colorful popcorn, farm fresh eggs, mini bales of hay, and the biggest collection of funky colored pumpkins I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend this pumpkin patch if you’re visiting Madison/the Dells. Porta potty on sight that appeared well maintained and discreet yet easy to access”

“This is our favorite place to find our pumpkins, gourds, and ornamental corn. There is a wonderful variety of already picked pumpkins and the prices are very reasonable. The wagons make it easy to gather what you need and the people are very friendly and helpful. It has a wonderful low-key family-community feel with some adorable farm animals and barn cats and kittens. It does not have the food stands, games, corn mazes, wagon rides, or playgrounds that some other fun pumpkin patches do, but if you just want a down to earth peaceful place with a great farm ambiance to pick up your fall decorations and pet a calf or kitten, it is perfect!”

“Excellent selection or pumpkins and more. Friendly workers on this family farm. Plenty of parking. Lots of animals to watch. Some friendly cats and tons of kittens. I felt bad for some of the cats even though the owners say they feed them...they were VERY hungry. Prices are comparable to similar places. Overall a nice experience.”

“My favorite little pumpkin patch! No frills, but such a great selection of unique pumpkins and gourds! The owners are so sweet — they took our picture and let us hang around for a while! Our baby liked looking at the cows and pigs. Stop here if you like a low key experience!”

“Absolutely wonderful visit. Went with my 1 year old son and the owners went out of their way to make sure my son and I had a nice time seeing the animals- he loved the little calves. Nice pumpkins too. Would highly recommend”

“Nice, simple place to pick out pumpkins and avoid the busy corn maze crowds. Friendly people, good prices, easy parking, and a large selection of beautiful ornamental squash. And kittens! Definitely recommend.”

“Very nice place to hang out. Squash and pumpkin are with good price. They have all types of pumpkin so also good place to take photos”

“Just visited and it was our first time there. Friendly woman greeted us and gave us a quick into. Nice selection of pumpkins and gourds. Also had fresh eggs, veggies, and honey for sale as well as corn stalks and ornamental corn. There were calves, pigs, and lots of cats. It must have been close to feeding time because they were all acting like they were starving. The only downside to the visit was several of the cats looked sick - one was so skinny you could see it's ribs and a couple had very crusty eyes. I wouldn't give this place a bad review for that - no clue if the skinny cat just appeared there. No clue if the cats get vet treated but hope so. The point is, it's a farm. You're going to see things in the rough - pigs in mud, flies on cows, cats that look rugged. I would recommend for those complaining in reviews that owners isolate any sickly looking animals for treatment and make people aware they ARE receiving said treatment.”
