Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We absolutely LOVE this pumpkin patch! It is family owned and the family are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They are constantly updating and adding new things to the farm because every time I go there is something new added that is different from the last. They always has the best photo ops, also events, delicious food, and so much fun the whole family can enjoy! We go here multiple times a year and every time is nothing short of amazing. One my favorite parts visiting here is always see their 2 dogs. If you are lucky you will get to pet one of the girls during your visit! They even added a new puppy to the mix this year!! This place is absolutely the best any time of the year! 🌻🎃🥰🦖❤️🌈🦕☀️”

“We went for the sunflower festival and had a great time. There is food and drink available for purchase, I especially enjoyed the wine slushies (they are sweet, but I found them refreshing). There are activities for adults and kids to enjoy, from giant slides to ski ball. Lots of photo opportunities. The grounds looked well taken care of. I recommend stopping at the main KC Wine Co building next door for a larger selection of wines and live music afterwards.”

“6/14/25 Took my sweet grandgirls, daughter & son in law & we had the best time. They have food, all kinds of drinks & special adult blushes for the mom & dad lol. It was very very Hot here this morning at 10:30am & a bit crowded.. All around fun & unique Safe place for children. We will be going back many times in the future. Thank you to the awesome owners 😊 ps your not supposed to go behind the "ropes" & my grandaughter ran too fast lol yikes.”

“KC Wine Vineyard & Winery $5 Friday was a hit for us girls from Topeka. Flat bread pizza was the best one I've had. The musician singing was awesome. The lawn games everywhere were enjoyed by all. We got there at opening & snagged seating around a fire pit 🔥 which helped since overcast and a tad chilly but that didn't stop us from enjoying the evening. Thank you KC Wine Co.”

“Great place to take the family! All kinds of activities for all ages. A little expensive to get in the door and still have to pay for some of the activities inside. Awesome drinks with or with out alcohol. . Lots of places to stop and pose for some pics. Overall a good time and good place to create lasting memories. P.S tickets are cheaper online”

“We had a great day yesterday at the Sunflower Festival, and loved seeing their doggies. They have so many fun activities for everyone from about 18 months to, well. . . . I won't tell. Haha. Thanks for your innovative play!”

“We had never been until this weekend and what an amazing trip! We will absolutely be back! This was so much fun! Definitely worth the drive and the kids from 2 to 16 all genuinely enjoyed their time!”

“If you haven't been 10/10 would recommend! This place is huge and so much to do! We went for the first time to the roars and rainbows. This place is fun for everyone”
