A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kansas.

  • Check whether this stop is a stand, orchard tour, or full farm experience before you arrive.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.

“My best friend and I came here to celebrate KC Wine's 11th birthday with them! They had a food truck bash going on which gave us the chance to get some yummy food and spend time in this excellent venue. We enjoyed quesabirria tacos from a food truck for the first portion of our evening, then got wine slushies for the second part. She got the white sangria flavor and I got the peach. Each came with a little candy on top. Both were sweet and delicious, perfect for us since we don't loveeee wine. Every corner of KC Wine is intentionally designed for you to be able to relax, grab a drink, and chat. There is ample parking, but in a grass lot so be emotionally ready, as well as plenty of seating in a wide variety of choices! They have games like corn hole and giant chess. To celebrate the birthday they had complementary s'mores! I grew up in this area and have since moved away but I wish I still lived here so I could be a regular at this wonderful spot!”

“We had an amazing time at the Wino & Vino 21+ event yesterday. I had never been before and really enjoyed visiting. It was easy enough to find. The parking was gravel. They checked our IDs at the front, then took our tickets once inside the barn. We were given bracelets with 5 different tabs. The tabs were turned in, one at each of the 5 sample stations. Along the way, they had various dinosaurs and unicorns along the way. There were lots of free farm games and activities. I really loved the trike track and the ski ball. Thanks for a fun evening of being a big kid.”

“We always have a good time at KC Wine Co. Love how the place has grown over the years and there is always fun stuff to do out there. PS....get a different person to do the music trivia. It was promoted as 80's hairbands. It was music that was all over the place, different decades and different genres. Which is fine but play what you advertised. Also, he did two rounds of bingo and it was the same exact music...lazy.”

“We had so much fun!! It was our first time going and we'll definitely go back. Margarita slush was so yummy! Sangria slush was my favorite, charcuterie board and hummus yummy. 80s bingo and a live band. Played the big connect four and corn hole!! Definitely recommend.”

“We visited KC Wine Co during their Dill Pickle Festival, and it turned out to be a surprisingly fun and flavorful afternoon. The food was themed to the max—we tried the pickle pizza, pickle grilled cheese, and fried pickles. While definitely quirky, all of it was **weirdly good** and worth trying just for the novelty. The drink options were great too. We sampled both the wine flights and margarita flights, which offered a nice variety and kept things interesting. The setting added to the experience with a live band, yard games, and plenty of space to relax and take it all in. KC Wine Co delivered a laid-back, creative, and enjoyable outing. Whether you're there for the events or just to sip and unwind, it's a great spot to spend a weekend afternoon.”

“We had a absolutely wonderful time exploring the dinosaurs and unicorns! It’s such a fun, magical setup that we easily could have spent a huge chunk of our day just hanging out and taking it all in. The only slight downside is that a lot of the extra activities and add-ons require separate purchases, which can add up. However, we were lucky enough to get our admission tickets at a discounted rate, which made it an incredible value for the experience we had. We truly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend it for a fun family day out!”

“Very busy, so that says very popular. At this time they were playing music bingo which I loved. Had good eats and great drinks to go with it. Got the giant pretzel loved!! Would come again but be prepared for limited seating. Thank goodness it was a beautiful day.”

“My group of 4 came here Friday 5/15/26 for the Pickle Palooza event featuring dill pickle slushies and pickle themed festival foods. There was plenty of seating and the photo ops were cute. The wine I ordered was good. My complaint is that after 6:30pm the lines were insanely long and slow moving. My husband left to get another drink and was gone for at least 30 minutes. There was room for improvement if there were more servers for the drink line. The food took at least 40 minutes to get after ordering, which means there was a long line standing there waiting for your name to be called. When my friend got her order (she paid $33) for, it was incorrect. I had the garlic parm fries with pickles...and it was a sad sight. I'm annoyed I spent $12 bucks on it. . Literally just some air fried fries with Buffalo wild wings garlic parm sauce skimpily tossed on. The only thing that looked really great was the Bavarian pretzel, which was $15 bucks. Overall, this was a gorgeous night, but it could have been executed with faster customer service and lower prices”
