Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I know this is a long shot, but if the person who found my wedding band and engagement ring in the parking lot sees this, thank you so much for turning them in! Thank you also to the worker there and owner of the farm for doing their best to help get the rings back to me. Completely blown away by everyone’s honesty and kindness. With that being said, this strawberry farm has several places to take pictures at and several places with shade to sit down at. The strawberries 🍓 were also sweet and delicious. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻.”

“My elementary aged kids went here on a school field trip and it was so much fun. Kenny spoke with the children about the farm with the kind of energy that shows he loves farming. He was a very nice guy and everyone who worked there was pleasant. We got to pick our own strawberries and I will say, they were amazing. My husband also purchased one of their Maui onions, which was huge and super flavorful. Definitely coming again.”

“Update 5/2025. There is a $5 per person fee to enter the farm for both online reservation and walk in. Toddlers enter free. Strawberry bucket is extra. Dirt parking lot. Easy going, friendly staff. Pickup a small or large bucket and go pick strawberries. Reservations only is recommended to hep the farm control over crowding. The strawberries were mostly riped. A lot of space to pick and benches with sun umbrellas.”

“We had an amazing time at Kenny’s Strawberry Farm! My family loved the hands-on experience of picking our own berries, and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Between the charming farm store, the kids' play area, and the convenient food truck, there was something for everyone. It was a perfect day out, and we will definitely be back!”

“Good experience for one time. But to pay for entry along with strawberry box.. it’s Damm expensive for a family of 4. But it’s good place to visit once. Strawberry were too good and sweet and can’t compared with the store bought ones. But still $43 for strawberry picking experience too Much for me atleast. Nothing bad about the place.”

“I recently visited Kenny’s Strawberry Farm for a U-pick experience, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing this time around. I’ve been here before and had a much better experience, so I was really looking forward to it. However, during this visit, most of the strawberry plants barely had any fruit on them. It took a long time just to find a few strawberries, and even then, most of what we found were either very small, unripe, or simply not good enough to pick or eat. For a U-pick farm, you expect to walk through rows with plenty of ripe, ready-to-pick fruit, but that just wasn’t the case. It felt like the fields weren’t prepared for visitors, or perhaps the timing of the season wasn’t right—but either way, it made the experience frustrating and not worth the trip. It’s especially disappointing because this wasn’t my first visit, and I know the farm can do better. I hope they improve the conditions or manage visitor access based on crop availability, because right now, I wouldn’t recommend it. And what shocked me the most that the guy at the check-out was telling me how they are expecting the U-pick to be on going for another month! Probably its end of season, but nothing adds even up! $11 for small bucket of that quality! Am not complaining about the price, but don't think its fair for the quality we had this time at all. We drove all the way from orange county to this farm which we were expecting the best experience to provide, but we're really disappointed.”
