Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in California.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“If you get there early they won’t load u my appointment wasn’t till 3 I got there @ 1pm I started getting loaded till 345pm they were quick loading the trailer small spot but ok I guess”
“Every time I purchased your Organic “navel oranges/ oranges navel” ... they are very sour.. never sweet.. the stores are Publix in FLORIDA Very disappointed...Publix doesn’t carry a large amount of organic produce.. please look into this and maybe you all might have a suggestion to resolve this matter.. Thank you”
“This place is a nightmare to get loaded. Very narrow roads, got to make some really tight turns to get in there, really easy to miss this place and drive right by it, no where around to eat or do anything other than wait to get loaded, cell phone reception isn't great.”
“Our lemon grove sent about 40,000 lbs of lemons and RVO paid us $600. Something is wrong with these packers. Cannot continue to grow lemons at these prices. Correction 80,000 lbs”
“I don’t know how come they have good reviews. I checked in 9am it’s 2 pm still not unloading happened”
