Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Kentucky.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Payment notes on file: Mastercard. Cash still helps at smaller stands.

“This cute little farmer’s market is a quick, scenic drive from Burlington and well worth the visit—especially on a quiet Sunday morning. While it wasn’t crowded when we went, you could tell that during peak times they offer a lot for families, including fun kid-friendly activities—a nice taste of agritourism. Their selection of local produce was exactly what I was looking for. I came hoping to find farm-grown tomatoes, and I walked away with beautiful, ripe ones along with squash, onions, and more. In addition to fresh produce, they have a solid lineup of beef and pork products, plus an impressive variety of jams, jellies, and sauces. If you’re looking for local goods and it’s not a Saturday when most other markets are open, this is a fantastic option. Friendly, local, and authentically farm-based!”

“Great place! Puchased some beautiful 🍅 tomatoes....one was over a pound! Wasn't a large selection of produce but was well worth the drive for the quality of on site grown tomatoes. The day we visited they had a sale of 99cents a pound. Unique gifts, handmade jelly and sauces, flowers, honey, melons, peaches and vegetables. They highly advertise the fall events they have and really interested in attending this fall. With the friendly country customer service we will return.”

“This place is amazing. We go here for fun, in the fall especially. I bought these amazing flower baskets and other flowers today! I bought mulch and potting soil. The hot pickles are amazing! I'm eating some now! Fresh ripe tomatoes, just mouth-watering! Customer service was perfect, by Debbie. She helped me make super choices! I couldn't fit anything else in my car, or I'd be in trouble!!! Great place to do business and have fun! Can't wait to plant my flowers!”

“We visited before their fall and winter festivities take place. Nevertheless, the employee on shift was very nice and we got to pet a cow and some goats. Would recommend if you're in the area for a quick 30 minute outing! (Toddlers may really like this place, too.)”

“My family and I visited here for the first time, today! Absolutely LOVED it. So much to do. Only a $10 entry fee gets you access to everything besides pony rides which are $5. They had bigby coffee & concessions. We will be back, for sure!”

“Overall a good expierence. There is a huge green house for plants. Then there is a roadside store with an assortment or fruit, vegetables, canned goods, and odds and ends such as stuffed animals and bags. The fruit and vegetables had a good selection but were a bit pricey. Still nice to be able to help a local business. Next was the animals barn. There is no fee for the animal barn however you can buy feed for the sheep for a dollar. There was a decent amount of farm animals from sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, cows, and turtles. Not a very large area but definitely an attraction for kids. There was and ice cream truck however it wasn't open, I assume it's open on the weekend. There was plenty of spots or park and there was a beautiful pond with seating overlooking it. Overall about a 30 min to 1 hour visit. Not a place to spend all day. But definitely worth a visit.”
