What you can pick

In October, check what’s currently ripe before you go. Seasons below are typical windows for Florida, not a guarantee for this exact farm.

Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Florida.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“If you know, you KNOW — Knaus Berry Farm is the real deal when it comes to legendary cinnamon rolls. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment you pull up, you can feel the hype — and trust me, it’s 100% justified. These world-famous cinnamon rolls are nothing short of perfection. Warm, soft, and baked fresh with that melt-in-your-mouth texture, then topped with a sweet, buttery glaze that hits just right… every single bite is heaven. The aroma alone is enough to have you hooked before you even get your hands on a box. And yes, the lines can get long, but that just tells you everything you need to know — people come from all over for these rolls, and once you try them, you’ll understand why. What makes it even better is the charm of the farm itself. It’s rustic, authentic, and feels like a hidden slice of old Florida. No frills, just amazing baked goods done right. Pro tip: get there early because they sell out fast — and you’ll definitely want to grab extra. One is NOT enough. Highly recommend to anyone local or visiting South Florida — this is a must-stop spot that lives up to every bit of its reputation.”

“This was my first time visiting Knaus Berry Farm! I was worried about the line so I planned to arrive by opening 8 am. On the day I went (which was May 2nd, on a Saturday) I arrived at exactly 8am And the line was short (probably 10 people in from of us). They now take credit card and they have some tables to enjoy what you get. If you’re going for the cinnamon rolls, they sell them individually, half dozen, and dozen. They give them to you in a box, with a paper to cover the top. You can also ask for a bag to put them in yourself. The lined moved quickly and the staff was really nice! Cinnamon rolls were great! Nice and soft, and perfectly sweet.”

“Waited a couple weeks after it open so there wouldn’t be much people in line. The cinnamon roll are amazing, love love love the strawberry milkshake !! Will be coming back for more and not in photo but the pecan pie is great.”

“Yes the hype is worth the drive! Don’t forget to bring CASH!!! The sticky buns, cheese bread & milkshakes are amazing! Try to make it out at the start of strawberry season to pick your own strawberries and tomatoes!”

“To be fair, we didn't actually get any cinnamon rolls, however, they need to work on their logistics and planning. We arrived 30 minutes before opening and the line was already crazy. We waited for an hour before trying to find someone to help us know how long the wait was. Finally, we found a staff member and they said we were probably at least 8 hours from getting to the register and not guaranteed there would be any cinnamon rolls left. This is not a very efficient operation at the moment. Having demand is great but they need to work on managing the lines and communicating to patrons as they arrive and get in line.”

“I went to Knaus Berry Farm twice because I really wanted to try their famous cinnamon rolls. The first time, I arrived about 30 minutes before opening and was shocked to find an 8-hour line already formed. So I decided to try again the following week. The second time, I arrived at 5:00 AM (they open at 8:00 AM) and was finally among the first 30 people in line. I did get to try the cinnamon rolls—and yes, they are delicious. However, while the food is good, I personally don’t think it’s worth waiting four or more hours for. I’m glad I experienced it once, but I wouldn’t come back to stand in that kind of line again.”

“Have patience when you go! It was about a 2 hours wait. The good: Everything tastes freshly made The bad: They didnt have certain items i.e cookies and slushies The review: Overall everything I had was good. Since they didnt have slushies I got a shakes and it was a good substitute.”

“Went here for the first time after years of watching them grow and people talk about their cinnamon rolls. First of, i am a cinnamon roll lover/scavenger. I go around the states trying the best cinnamon rolls. Ive been to 25 states and i can say where the best cinnamon roll is made. In North Carolina in the town of Winston-Salem, amish family with a recipe that has gone through generations. In my opinion, these cinnamon rolls are overrated/overhyped. Im not sure if they tasted different 2 years ago because i didnt have them when they started, but now all i tasted was oil and no flavor. It tastes like i was eating a cinnamon stick from Pizza Hut. Truly dissatisfied, ive had way bettter cinnamon rolls from supermarket than the Knaus rolls. The pecan rolls they make are a bit better, thanks to the pecans it gives a more nutty sweet flavor, but nothing out of this world. Im glad i went and did a 1hr line to try them because i now know that i wont ever make an 8hr line or stand all day in line for a cinnamon roll that i know i can do better at home. Still, wish you guys the best 👍🏾”
