“Wow some of the best blueberries to be had in NC. Not sure how they grow them but they are monsters in the carton I purchased. Beautiful grove with the parking lot and then a little ice cream stand next to the farm stand and nursery area. They had blueberry sorbet in stock and it was one of the best fresh sorbets I have tried. Just happened to get a blueberry milkshake off property and mixed some of the sorbet in there for some authentic flavor. Thanks for the great summer experience! Such a gem for the community.”

“A gift to Wilmington. The people, flowering plants and trees. The ice creams and DO NOT MISS THE NEW STRAWBERRY LEMONADE SMOOTHIE!!!! It's the best frozen beverage I've ever tasted. But the strawberries...currently are peaking now. They are like ambrosia. I believe the current patch in called June Roses. Super sweet and extremely juicy. Run don't walk. Thank you Lewis Farms. Today was my 6th pick of the season. These are the juiciest. Place is a complete triumph.”

“Always an amazing time! A very organized well-run business. The kids love picking strawberries and afterwards we always get some of their delicious ice cream. While Dad and the kids enjoy their ice cream in the rocking chairs perfectly placed in the shade, I go off to browse through their nursery. Their plants are well priced and healthy. The hibiscus are gorgeous! It's a full afternoon for less than $50 for us.”

“So much fun. These are the best local strawberries I have found, tons of homemade treats in a very cute sitting area out of the sun, and TONS of plants to impulse buy. You can even get local honey and apple butter here. Flowers and herbs/veggies plants. Make sure to bring back your bucket, they encourage you to pack that sucker FULL. Can't wait to go back for Blueberry season <3”

“I always take my friends and family here when they visit in the spring. They have the best and sweetest strawberries here! Also, their nursery is very reasonable priced. I bought plants for only $60 when the same plants we're going to cost me almost $300 at Home Depot. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Don't miss this in the spring and early summer months!”

“We’ve been picking berries here for 7+ years. Ww picked when your entire crop got destroyed by hail and picked in masks during the peak of Covid. This year we do our family tradition - strawberries then blueberries then ice cream then hanging baskets for our porch and some flowers. We go pick strawberries and they were great this year. Past few years different issues have caused strawberries to take a beating not Lewis fault can’t control Mother Nature but this year beautiful. Than we had to blueberries. Older gentleman. Super talkative and friendly to everyone handing out picking buckets. Told me about his 3 sons had a nice conversation. Then we go top pick. First few rows super green even the blue ones small and bitter so I keep walking. Start picking blueberries and this guy named Aiden comes over and scolds me like a child. What are you doing over here. This section is for Sunday. Didn’t anyone tell you where to pick and walk me back over to the green section and tells me what this 4 feet section I’m allowed to pick. I inform him of how green and bitter this area is and how other people were complaining. He says well this is where you can pick. That area over there is for Sunday. He then walks away and continued to patrol the blueberry patch scolding other people that left the green area. Multiple people complained to him about where we were allowed to pick he just ignored them. Talk about a buzz kill. Worst pick your own experience ever. We ended up leaving and didn’t fill our bucket, or buy ice cream or flowers. Our money spends where it’s appreciated. I tried to talk to someone about it phone rang busy for a hour. Handful on the left. What we were allowed to pick. Handful on the right the “Sunday blueberries” we weren’t allowed to pick.”
