Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Texas.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We visited Mama Mary's Farm for the first time yesterday, and I have to say that it is one of the cuter pumpkin patches in the Austin area! The parking was easy and free, and there's a lot to do on the farm! I like that it's not all spread out and you don't have a ton of walking to do to get to the next area. My kids are 4 and 6, and it was perfect for their age. I would say there are more activities geared towards younger kids than older. My kids enjoyed the Zipline the most because they haven't seen one that high before! I enjoyed the bumpy wagon ride through the field! We came on a Saturday afternoon and it didn't seem over crowded at all. My kids got to paint pumpkins they picked out, which they also loved! There are food vendors on site such as a burger tuck and shave ice. I appreciated that they didn't over charge for water or small snacks, it was only $1 for a bottle, which was awesome! There are so many cute photo opportunities throughout the farm! We will be back again next year!”

“12 stars!! This is a fantastic pumpkin patch & farm full of family fun!! Tons of fun activities and good food!! Fantastic inventory of numerous types of pumpkins at good prices!! Friendly and attentive staff!! Very well laid out and beautifully decorated. It’s spacious but also close enough that you’re not completely exhausted trying to participate on all the activities. Adorable goats, chickens and donkeys. Don’t miss out on the kettle corn, it’s delicious!! We’ve visited numerous pumpkin patch farms in Travis County and hands down, we’ll be visiting here every year!”

“This place is amazing! Was our first time this past weekend. Kids myself and the husband loved it! Soooo many places for photo ops. Concessions with snacks and drinks are affordable and delicious! They even had s’mores kits which the kids LOVED. We did not know zip lining was closed before we went down a few times but they were friendly and nice when they let us know it was closed. 🫠 also the train ride was really nice our toddlers loved it. We will definitely be back!”

“Went to this pumpkin patch with our family and had an absolute blast. I recommend this to all families. It is safe and so many activities for the kids. A definite must do. Petting zoo, zip line, food, tasty lemonade, slides, kiddo choo choo train. Never a dull moment all the families there were having so much fun including ours. The staff are super friendly and you can tell they care of the well being of the kids. Mahalo for all awesome day.”

“Absolutely the best pumpkin patch I’ve ever been too! The kids had a blast but I think we had even more fun as adults. So many activities that were very well executed, super adorable touches that were perfect for pictures, close parking, and snacks that were super reasonably priced. Recommend to all my friends with kids and they all went and loved it. 10/10 experience and will absolutely be back next year!”

“We had a magical morning at Mama Mary’s Farm! The zinnias were in full bloom and absolutely stunning. My daughter got to cut her own flowers, feed the goats and see the new babies, swing, race rubber ducks, and zip line. She didn’t want to leave! The owners are genuinely warm and kind, and you can feel the love they put into this place. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! 💐”
