Before you go
A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Nebraska.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“My family and I had a great experience here! There is a cost for entry, but it is pretty reasonable. They have a ton of different apple varieties, a pumpkin patch with decorative pumpkins, gourds, and pie pumpkins, as well as Jack o lantern ones. There are several play areas for kids, picnic tables, and a tire swing. They have food you can buy or you're welcome to bring your own (which we did). There was also a small corn maze and wild flower patches where you can pick a bouquet. We recommend checking out!”

“Love this Orchard. It's not too far from Lincoln. We love the strawberry in June, peaches in August, raspberries in Sept, and apples until late October. Love the butterfly garden too. Fun play areas for the kids too. You guys should get on their mailing list so you know what they have available thru out the year.”

“We had great time for the whole family. We enjoyed apple and raspberry picking. You need to know that you will be buying the fruits that you've picked. The approximate price for apples is 3 apples for $1. In general, prices are reasonable if you don't pick too much.”

“We had a great time on the hillside! Picked our own pumpkins and apples, played in the corn 🌽 😄 and other play areas. The big swing is very popular in our family. Their canned goods are fantastic; I especially love the apple butter.”

“This is a very nice family owned farm. We love picking apples and they are cheap compared to larger orchards. It is small with a lot of potential. We pick apples, find a few pumpkins, and take a nice walk while doing it.”

“My only issue is that I have never been charged to go into an orchard to pick. It's always been just to pay for what you pick. It was my nephews 1st time, and I was excited to be the one taking him. He loved it, and he loves apples!”
