“I originally came over from Big Island to dive, but after the big storm passed through and caused quite a bit of damage across the islands, my dive (along with many other activities) was cancelled, so finding this tour ended up being the best unexpected change of plans. Amber was such a sweet and knowledgeable guide. She took her time explaining everything about the animals and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. I got to pet all of them, hold the angora bunnies, and even feed the alpacas, who all have names, which made it even more fun to connect with them. There were also two baby alpacas that completely stole the show, as of course, did Sassy, who IS as she is named 😆😍 You can tell the animals are incredibly well cared for and genuinely loved, which made the experience feel even more special. One of the coolest parts was learning how their fiber (hair/fur) is processed. The tour includes a hands-on demo where you get to see how it is cleaned and spun into yarn, and even try it yourself, which was something I didn’t expect and really enjoyed! There’s also a little gift shop with beautiful handmade items created by Janet, the owner, which made it feel even more special knowing everything comes directly from the farm. I treated myself to a gorgeous and very soft bunny hat. This place felt like a little slice of furry heaven, and I loved every second of it. 10/10 would absolutely recommend, and I’d happily go back to try one of their other tours.”

“We visited Maui Alpaca Farm on March 16th, and it was truly an incredible experience! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and welcomed all of our questions about the alpacas, which made the visit even more enjoyable and informative. It was clear how much they cared about the animals and the farm. The farm itself was well maintained and in great condition, which added to the overall experience. One of the highlights was learning how they collect the alpaca fiber to make yarn. It was so interesting to see that process explained firsthand! We also loved that you can purchase yarn made from the alpacas right there on the farm, which makes for such a unique and special souvenir. We highly recommend visiting Maui Alpaca Farm if you’re looking for a fun, educational, and memorable experience in Maui!”

“Had a truly great time at Maui Alpaca Farm. It was fun to feed and interact with the alpacas and learn so much about them. Our tour guide Jessica was great and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The bunnies were also adorable and oh so soft. There is a great little shop on site that has yarn and other things made with alpaca fleece and angora fur. I wish i could have bought one of everything! The drive in was also beautiful, not sure we would have thought to go to upcountry Maui - but it was incredible and a place i would love to explore more. Couldn't recommend this experience enough.”

“We had the BEST time with Padma!! What a treat this was- book it!!! We did the trekking tour and my mom and I got to walk our own alpaca. Padma was FULL of knowledge and we learned so much. Little did we know, there was a picnic waiting for us where we got to hydrate and fuel up with the alpacas! The angora bunnies were another amazing surprise. I can’t stop thinking about them and how soft and calming they were. We ended with a super informative lesson on how to make yarn by hand with fur! Padma made this our favorite activity on Maui!”

“We had such a delightful time at Maui Alpaca! We were able to spend time feeding and petting the alpacas, while the very knowledgeable guide gave us a lot of information about alpacas in general, as well as specific information about the actual alpacas we were interacting with. Then, we were able to meet the angora rabbits and learn about them as well. Finally, we got a demonstration of how to spin yarn. The animals were adorable and friendly, and we got so many cute photos with them!”

“I highly recommend visiting Maui Alpaca. It was an amazing experience getting to spend a relaxing morning with the cutest and sweetest alpaca and angora baby bunnies. Erin, our tour host was so welcoming, knowledgeable and took pictures for the group throughout our visit. See you next year Maui Alpaca!”

“This was such a lovely way to spend the morning! Our family had a wonderful time! The alpacas are so cute and soft, same with the bunnies! Very knowledgeable, great with the kids non stop questions, such a great experience and highly recommend!”

“When visiting Hawaii, you don’t think about booking an alpaca farm tour, but I am SO glad I did!!! I absolutely loved petting and feeding the animals. Perfect for kids and adults!! Definitely book this for a unique experience on Maui.”
