“Maybury is such a local gem! The animals appear to be very well taken care of by the farm staff and volunteers. I have been going to Maybury for years and just love meeting all the baby animals in the spring and watching them grow up over the summer. This summer I was especially happy to see the pigs outside and rolling around in a mudpit! They seemed to be having so much fun. Maybury is a local treasure for both children and adults- it is truly my "happy place". I encourage everyone to come to the farm!”

“It is a small farm It is NOT part of the state park, nor does it recieve funding from the state (to my knowledge). Their website holds true to the description. Their gift shop had local honey and Jams amongst other things. It was a great way to spend 2 hours with my granddaughter. The staff / volunteers were engaging and great with kids! Considering where the money for the admission goes (to pay for upkeep of the farm and animals and the employees), I felt happy to contribute - money well spent.”

“Love going to Maybury Farm! The kids and I enjoy seeing all the animals. They have baby goats and lambs right now! 😍 The kids have fun playing in their playground too! The store also has the BEST jam! We just bought a membership and are looking forward to visiting again real soon!”

“Nice farm to visit! Also, a couple playgrounds nearby. We went at feeding time, so most of the animals were eating. The staff was very friendly and chatted while feeding the animals. The store at the front had cute stuffed animals and food items”

“Nicely maintained farm, kind helpful friends/employees. Definitely recommended for kids.”

“It’s a very nice farm, lots of animals. We had a great time here. My toddler loved it. Wish it was a bit more affordable so we could visit often. The alpacas are adorable lol. Theres also a little play area inside too. Overall if the kids love animals and being outdoors, they’ll have a wonderful time here.”

“Our first day of summer and we were excited to spend it at Maybury Farm with the animals! Unfortunately $8 per person got us a view of the animals and nothing more. Cute donkeys were displayed to pet but we were asked to move because a tour was coming through. It wasn't a kind ask either. At the front admissions area they mentioned that we looked disappointed. We kindly told them why and they said it was a busier day for tours. The public are customers too and should get an equal opportunity. We will not be back nor would recommend to others.”

“Went to the Eggstravagnza Easter/spring festival last year and was very disappointed on many levels. First and most importantly safety. I was disappointed to find out they use electric fences for many of the animal enclosures and that’s absolutely concerning for me as it relates to young children accidentally touching them and getting shocked. Secondly, and interestingly during an event geared towards children, many of the staff were very rude and unfriendly towards children and parents around the different activity centers that were set up which left a bad taste in my mouth. We haven’t gone back and I don’t plan to support this establishment further due to these issues. It’s advertised to be family and children friendly yet the most basic requirements to achieve that (safety and friendly towards children) are not there at all.”
