“I couldn’t be happier to see this orchard brought back to life under the new ownership. You can tell right away how much work, care, and heart they’ve put into restoring the grounds and creating a welcoming atmosphere for the community after so many years of the orchard not being cared for or maintained. They’ve already hosted several events, and every single one has had a fantastic turnout. The activities are well-planned, family-friendly, and clearly made with the community in mind. It’s so nice to see this orchard becoming a place where people can gather again. Huge congratulations to the new owners Alanna and Justin for stepping up, saving a beloved local spot, and turning it into something even better. If you haven’t visited yet, you absolutely should this orchard is thriving, and it’s only getting better!”

“Monarch Orchards in Charlton is such a special place. You can truly feel the heart and dedication that Justin and Alanna Tomer have poured into restoring this beautiful 44-acre orchard. What was once a neglected property is now becoming a vibrant hub filled with scenic views, pick-your-own experiences and fun seasonal events. Their holiday offerings especially the Christmas tree sales and Santa photos have brought a wonderful sense of joy and tradition to the area. It’s refreshing to see a small, family-run farm so committed to transparency, sustainability, and community connection while building something meaningful from the ground up. Monarch Orchards feels like the kind of place that will only keep getting better with time. If you’re looking to support local- it’s worth a visit.”

“My husband, 5 month old, and I did the mini photoshoot session this past weekend and we couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience. I was so nervous and anxious and Alanna was so great at helping calm my nerves, guide us on what poses to do, and help carry the stuff we brought. She really took her time to ensure we were in the right light, take pictures in different angles, and edited them so beautifully. She’s really talented and we feel like she captured our family perfectly. We’ve been working with the same photographer for 4 years but moved and had a hard time finding a local replacement. Alanna will definitely be our go to now!”

“We took our grandsons out to Monarch Orchards this fall and had a great time at their grand opening. It's a beautiful location with so much potential. Alanna and Justin Tomer have been working hard to bring back the orchard from years of neglect. I hope anyone who appreciates beautiful outdoor spaces where they can spend time with family or friends will support their efforts. Stay tuned for their events and the unfolding story of Monarch Orchards.”

“I had such a wonderful time picking blueberries here and can't wait to come back. Next year I'm looking forward to the apple picking as well. This place is so beautiful I had my son's senior pictures taken here and I'm thrilled with how they came out. Seeing the orchard being refreshed and brought back to life is fabulous and the merchandise is the perfect way to bring home a reminder of a happy memory,.”

“First time here and I enjoyed picking the blueberries. They were yummy and at decent price. I just didn't like that it was so compact and only about 1/4 of the bushes had blueberries ready to pick. Also, there was poison ivy everywhere, and growing in and around the bushes. This, and the overgrowth of grass and weeds wasn't well maintained. I did enjoy my time there though and, again, the blueberries were great!”
