A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Oregon.
- Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
- Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
- Arrive earlier in the day for cooler weather and better selection during peak weekends.
- Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“I would’ve never imagined a places like this existing. I love visiting farms on the west coast. They had peaches, pears, apples, and blueberries. My favorite were the blueberries. The apples were also delicious— taste very different from the stuff you find in grocery stores. They’re not overwhelmingly sweet and actually have that sour and subtly bitter taste that Apples are supposed to have. Some of the peaches I picked got a bruised color to them after a couple days and tasted off but I think they may have been overripe or not good picks. Picked a couple of pears but they weren’t the star of the show. Mt good was beautiful from the orchard. Staff are friendly and the price was literally nothing. I payed $7 for maybe 10 peaches, 10 apples, and a pound (maybe more) of blueberries. I would highly recommend coming here and exploring the large orchard, eating some yummy fresh fruit, and soaking in the beautiful views.”

“Beautiful orchard with various apples, pears, flowers and pumpkins. We got there a bit too late so not many apples left to pick but we still had fun walking around and breathing in the aromas of the apples and pears. They also had plenty already picked ones to buy. The hard cider was great! Very refreshing.”

“We visited the farm and wandered around like excited apes—it’s spacious and lovely, with plenty of trees and stunning mountain views. We picked some donut peaches, which were incredibly juicy, sweet, and delicious. The u-pick price was a bit steep, especially considering we did all the work under the hot sun and still paid more than supermarket prices. But hey, nothing beats fruit fresh off the tree.”
