Before you go

A short checklist so the trip feels easy — especially helpful for first-time u-pick visits in Wisconsin.

  • Bring closed-toe shoes, sun protection, water, and containers unless the farm supplies them.
  • Call or check the website for today’s picking conditions — mud, rain, and sold-out fields are common.
  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained; berry juice and field mud travel home with you.
  • Cash still helps at smaller stands even when cards are accepted.

“We cannot say enough wonderful things about Mulberry Lane Farm. We had our wedding here in June 2026 and from the facilities to the staff and owners, everything was perfect! We live out of state and from the beginning Bonnie, the owner, was very accommodating to every question and request we had! Extremely fast communication and always had pictures/examples to send us for clarification. The farm itself is BEAUTIFUL and impeccably maintained! All of our guests raved about how amazing the views were, and of course all of the animals! Bonnie, her husband, and their employees were all very professional, helpful and SO organized. I didn't stress at all the day of because I knew they were making sure everything went as planned! We HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone and would rate 10000/5 if we could!”

“My daughter has gone to Barnyard Camp with Farmer Joy for two summers now. It is by far, her favorite camp of the year. Farmer Joy teaches the kids so much throughout the experience and she truly forms a bond with each individual little farmer. Her warmth and passion is contagious. We have been going to Mulberry Lane Farms for many years for our Fall pumpkin picking, annual animal visit, and hayride experience. Last year, we even adopted one of the baby kittens, cementing our ties with the farm! 🐈‍⬛ We will continue to go each year because we are always welcomed with open arms and an incredible experience!”

“Beautiful and so much fun if you are an animal lover! Great for kids from 2 to 102. So many different animals (goats, kittens, chicks, pigs, bunnies, cows, lots of others...) and most can be held or petted. It's a beautiful property with lots of space. And it seems like they genuinely take care of and respect their animals. We'll definitely be back.”

“Our granddaughter did the Farmer Camp for two days and absolutely loved the experience! She had a wonderful time with Farmer Joy and a small group of 7 and 8 year olds. I would recommend it for any child that loves animals and the outdoors. They made ice cream, milked cows, and did chores.”

“One of the best hands on farms you can visit! We love playing with the baby pigs, goats, chicks, cows, bunnies, ducks, and more! Even better they are family friendly and allow you to bring in your own lunch!! Some weekends they have food trucks too.”

“Love this place! Have been coming for years. The kids are grown but my husband and I still enjoy visiting several times a month. We are pass holders and will continue to be. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and plenty of places for a picnic.”

“Our family visits this special farm very often. We always have a great time. The summer day camp program for kids is awesome! Wonderful dedicated staff!”

“I really enjoyed our visit to Mulberry Farm. Walking through the grounds and seeing all the animals—especially the pigs, piglets, sheep, and goats—was a lot of fun. The property was surprisingly clean and well-kept, which made it easy to relax and take everything in. One of my favorite parts of the day was the tractor ride; it gave a nice view of the farm and added a classic fall-festival feel to the experience. The only downside was the pumpkin ticket system. We each received a ticket to pick out a pumpkin, but it turned out that the same ticket covered any size—large or small. We chose some small pumpkins and little gourds, only to realize they cost the same as the biggest pumpkins available. It felt a bit uneven, given the size difference. Overall, though, Mulberry Farm was a pleasant place to spend the afternoon. It’s clean, family-friendly, and gives a genuine sense of being out in the country. With a little more clarity on the pumpkin pricing, it would have been a five-star visit.”
